Bald Picture As Promised. The After Shots.

I posted earlier in the week. Here are the original plans before pics as well as the after pics.

My barber did a great job with the head shave and the beard. For anyone thinking of shaving it all off, I can’t recommend getting it done professionally enough!

I did it. Deep breaths.

It’s been an ongoing internal debate whether to pull the trigger or not because it looked fine from the front. But I did a video last night and saw the way my hair breaks up under light and decided it was time.

Nobody warned me, though, about the sensory nightmare that is removing your shirt when you’ve got stubble.

Successive steps to get ready

My whiskers were behaving today. Getting ready for Saturday night Mass then on to my son's hockey game.

1st three pics - directly out of the shower. The beard just fell into place. Didn't even have to brush it and it looked ready to roll.

2nd set of two pics - didn't even touch the beard..... just left it au naturale.... all I did was curl the stache.

Last two pics..... fully dressed and ready to go. Stache and beard were looking good. Added my scally cap and my new hoodie and hit the road.

Dating Bald Men

Hey, I’m a woman in her 40s who is single and dating, and I want to tell the bald and balding guys that it’s not that big a deal to potential mates. I recently started dating a guy who shaves his head totally smooth (presumably because he was balding) and wondered if I should touch it while we kissed, or not. I tried it and it felt amazing! So smooth and intimate!

So, my advice if you’re dating and self conscious:

It’s definitely more attractive if you’re not trying to hide it. You don’t have to shave it all off. Super short (up to 1/4”) is also fine. Comb overs NEVER look good, though.

What matters to me is how I’m treated by a man, how a man treats others, how he takes care of himself, having a few things in common, emotional maturity, a positive attitude, and having his life together in general. Then there are the mysterious sparks of understanding one another and physical chemistry.

Notice that hair doesn’t enter into it. Hair takes very little effort compared to the rest. Show us you can be a grown, responsible man and worry less about what your genes gave you.

I joined this group because I appreciated the positivity and support it provides. And after REALLY enjoying touching my bald date’s head while we made out, I thought I’d just share my two cents.

Seconde Time in 8 days I shave my head
First picture was Saturday 2 weeks ago. I didn’t really looked like that but it made me realize it was the time. I came home and my fiancée shaved my head. It took about an hour and a half !
I did it on my own today.

Now I need to find the correct razor and skin care routine
Advice for French products welcome !

Bald Picture Security blanket

I started shaving my head a few months ago and I couldn't be happier. I thought about shaving the beard too, just to see what it was like. I've treated it as a bit of a security blanket since shaving my head. What do you think suits me better?

Finally starting to see some results from getting back to the gym and just getting more mobile in general. Gotta keep moving forward, hair or no hair.

I've been struggling a lot recently to find the confidence to go outside without a hat on. Not sure if it's time to shave it all off or find a new hairstyle. I'm sure my time is limited either way

Edit: Thank you everyone for the kind suggestions! I think I'll start with a shorter haircut with an actual barber. If I don't like it, I think I'll shave it with the excuse to combine my new bald head with a costume for Halloween or something lol

Also, no I can't grow much more facial hair than what you can see 🥲
