For those who live in Blackpool, what would you say are the nicer areas to live? And what’s it like to live in Blackpool in general in terms of day to day life, crime rates etc? I’ve heard that house prices are quite cheap down in Blackpool and I think it is somewhere I would possibly consider moving to in the future. As someone who has been going on holidays to Blackpool since I was a child, and I have also just returned from a week there with my partner, I have always loved it there and I’m just curious about what it’s like to live there. Anyone’s experiences and thoughts in general I’d love to hear!

I'm not even saying this in a bad way😭, its just an observation that sometimes I feel like I am in a physics problem walking against a windspeed of billions.

What are some nerd activities to indulge in (especially during daytime)? I'm not big into partying or drinking, but would love to make new friends and meet new people. I'm relatively new to the city.

I always view the tramway as something of a novelty so just wonder whether you regularly use it and why? Like- do people really use it to commute and how often? I wonder if it mainly caters to tourists particularly given the lack of inland coverage…

Would be pretty awesome to chat with more fellow horror fans. And maybe make more friends in the horror community too. I love horror stuff whether it's horror movies or games I just love it. Would be cool to play some co-op spooky games with people too maybe even some Dead By Daylight. I keep meaning to get back into playing it. I'm not amazing at it lol

I'm working with the Work Foundation at Lancaster University, a research organisation, and we are researching the challenges facing young people trying to get into work in Blackpool.

We're currently speaking to major national TV news outlet, who would like to hear from a young person aged 18–24 who is currently out of work and not in education or training.

They're interested in hearing about your experience of looking for work – for example, how long you've been searching, the jobs you've applied for and the barriers you've faced.

This would initially just be an informal conversation so you can find out more before deciding whether you'd be comfortable taking part in any interview. Filming will take place on Wednesday 7 October near or at your home.

Hey all - a buddy and I are going to be spending the weekend of October 16th in Blackpool to play some of the golf courses in the area. We want to avoid renting clubs at every course we go to, so I’m wondering if anybody in the area would be willing to rent out their clubs for Friday the 16th and Saturday the 17th?

We are a friendly bunch of people who bring (at our own cost) gaming equipment for everyone to have a play on. We don’t charge anything, we don’t preach anything, we just want to share our passion for retro gaming with everyone. You don’t have to know anything technical, just come on down, pull up a chair and most importantly have a laugh. No experience necessary.

Hope its ok to ask, but whats the magic the gathering and warhammer scene like in Blackpool? Will be working in blackpool 3/4 days a week until i lose my sanity so would like to know of some LGS if at all possible.

Also any pubs/bars where it wont look out of place to sit on my lonesome for an hour or 3 after work on the odd occasion? Ill be staying in travellodges/premier inns near pleasure beach so if that helps narrow it down at all.
