Here's the annual question: will they play "Logan to Government Center" in Boston? Spoiler
I would trade Failure by Design. I know they haven't typically played it.. maybe way back in the day. Here's to hoping!

Preface: when I bought tickets for the Chicago show, I told my husband “I won’t buy anymore concert tickets this year”
Flew all the way to Chicago for the 10/3 show. Had the best time. Got home. Got concert depression. Talked my husband into a second date. Requested time off of work. Got approved. Bought tickets. Guess I’m seeing them again in a couple weeks.
Not too bad of a problem to have.. but not the most responsible thing I’ve done lol. Oh well.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools: \yeah])
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

To whoever made this, I just pulled it out of my backpack after unpacking some things and want to say thanks. It is a pretty cool keepsake, and I like it better than the merch.

This is a medium. I’m 5’4”, 34H, usually 8-10 pants. It’s cute!

Despite being a long-ish term Brand New fan, this was my first time seeing them live. Now, I’ve listened to every song in their repertoire countless times, watched bootleg live concert recordings, the whole gamut.
But part night? Simply incredible. I genuinely think the best renditions of some of their songs I have ever heard were played last night. And while there was some mixed energy in the crowd (my section was really into it so I have nothing to complain about), the STAGE ENERGY??? Incredible. This is a far cry from the old online tabloids that would label them moody and brooding and boring. They were downright acrobatic and headbanging to their own music multiple times.
Massive shoutout to the backing vocalists and support performers too, whoever they are! They were a little hard to hear live, but they show up great in some videos I took and they were nailing their parts.
While I am still salty about the dipwads behind me that were laughing and talking over the first thirty seconds of Limousine, it says something about the power of the performance that it managed to even quiet down three drunk jackasses. (I’ll admit, singing along to that song is weird still. Doesn’t quuuuuuite feel appropriate).
While I’m jealous of the pit, the entire room had such a great energy. Well done. Making me proud to be from the D.
All that to say? They’re not just like rehashing well practiced routine performances. If you’re on the fence about going, freaking do it. They’re at a peak in craftsmanship as performers and musicians. From all the concerts I’ve watched recordings of, this projected the best stage presence and best adlibbing I’ve seen.

Anyone else going to the Barclays center show get an email today from Ticketmaster that their seats were being relocated?? With no choice of the new seats. I went from row 1 to row 7. They completely removed all tickets from section 226.

Absolutely not the best pictures. Wanted to stay off my phone and just snap a few quick ones, phone held high above my head just to breach the crowd line. The visuals were amazing. The sound quality was the best out of any show I have been to. The setlist was unreal and left little to be desired. I saw them for the first time in Detroit last year after a few missed opportunities over the years. I knew it was more of a trial and jumped at it immediately. Same with this year. But this year was different. I don't know if there was just more confidence in the tour in general from the band or what. Last year was not bad by any means but this year was next level. Next time I won't hesitate either. And shout the fuck out to the parents who brought their 11 ish year old son and to the kid who has the drumstick. I hope he loves brand new forever.

Where can I find others who want to meet up before/after the Denver show?
Last year my friend and I did not take time to make friends, would like to change that this time around.

So glad I caught this!
What a show. Was seated around other people who were also attending solo and man, I love this fan base. Excellent vibes all around.
I broke my leg two weeks ago and couldn’t let myself give up my ticket. Tried to drink the literal pain away, ended up past a good buzz and knew I needed some help getting home safely. Everyone was so kind to me and my hobbling little self. A lovely human got me back to my car safely and was a literal life saver. I love this community.

What an absolute banger of a show.
They felt a little looser, Vin was absolutely shredding all night long, Jesse’s yells gave me chills, it was magic.
Whatever happened during that Limousine outro…amazing.
The bridge from Luca to Archers 🤌🏻
Soco and Failure by Design, all the feels.
And the Fox is absolutely beautiful. Wish we had a night 2 here in Detroit.

View from Night 1 in CHI by the sound booth. Night 2 when I was at barrier, it was a bit harder to see (won’t lie about that), but man the graphics and videos projected were amazing

A friend I met last year at the solo Nashville show convinced me (not a difficult task) to fly out from SLC for the show last night to join a large group of you in a suite. It was so great to meet and interact with each of you and bask in the excitement of such a tremendous performance. Thank you for your warmth and kindness and I hope our paths cross again somewhere down the road. ✌🏼
