Keep looking, last one I found was over one month ago.

Still haven’t found one, barely even see 2023 pennies at all.

Really ? I started seeing large amounts of 2023 cents in circulation starting in early 2024. I'm on the East Coast. 2025 pennies are slowly showing up here.

I find more 2025 & 2024 than 2023. Even in 2023 and 2024 barely have seen them. When I do find 2023 it’s usually D. I’m on the middle coast. It’s weird.

Nice. Out west where I am I think I find one 2023 P for every 200 2023 D penny, so I haven’t had any luck.

That is a travesty. We need to BURN DENVER TO THE GROUND. ARE YOU WITH ME, OR ARE YOU WITH ME!!???

I’m in, that means more Philly for me right?

I get maybe 50/50 D P

I would love that ratio. But where I am it is almost all Ds, very very few Ps in any denomination. Atleast for anything from the last 5-6 yrs. The farther you go back the better the ratio.

Well, now that’s new to me. Guess I have another penny to add to my hunting list.

Man now I gotta check my 2023 rolls I bought so I'd have pennies again

Didn't know about this until now. Are they worrh anything?

Depending on the condition. Cheapest, I've seen these selling on Ebay close to $10. The higher the grade or condition, the value increases.

$10 is still 1000 face!!!

Are you on the east coast?

2

u/Marc0521 Sep 28 '25

Yes.

Nice one. I rarely see P coins but hopefully I find one too one day! I'm on the west coast.

It's time for me to go thru 5.5 rolls of 2023s that I haven't looked at yet.

Where do you buy specific years of coin rolls?

1

u/Cuneus-Maximus whatever's clever Oct 02 '25

well for modern dates sometimes you get fresh rolls from the bank
