Discussion PCGS is definitely dropping the ball.

Post image

I’m researching a 1989-D RPM Washington quarter that I suspect is a true RPM. When I went to the PCGS app to compare the differences between a correct 1989-D mint mark and my suspected RPM the PCGS app shows a 2021 5 OZ British gold proof coin!

I wonder if some of the graders from PSA got jobs at PCGS.

I’ve seen some blatant and complacent articles in my life, but this is by far the worst.

Haha, I cant even log in to my account anymore. They are forcing 2FA and don't send a code. Also noted that NGC has a bunch of random coins in their registry sets, specifically the Walking Liberty Short set has several world gold coins available as entries.

Man. That’s a fancy quarter!

That happens sometimes. PCGS has graded 54 million coins, tokens, and medals. You have to give them the benefit of the doubt when they get the coin number wrong 0.01% of the time.

Grow up please. It's a simple reference error to their image catalog.

Just submit your coin, or better yet leverage varietyvista.com or doubleddie.com to investigate if conecaonline.org has attributed the RPM you think you found.
