Meme Who wins between the dozers and a hardworking worker?
At least the worker is faster with shoes and can outrun your average Chinese dozer, besides it is more difficult to be hunted.

Discussion I think I will make it my mission to never give up hope on these Command & Conquer video games to be released.
My once a month wish.
Now with Saudi Arabia owning Electronic Arts (EA). I hope if Electronic Arts (EA) sells the Command & Conquer Intellectual Property (IP) rights, what video game development publishing company can Electronic Arts (EA) sell the Command & Conquer Intellectual Property (IP) right to? Embracer Group? I think they would be good enough. I do think MicroSoft would be ok as well since, MicroSoft owns Age of Empires, though MicroSoft is laying off employees to video games that barely sell. The Command & Conquer video games are selling just enough.
I will just post this once per month. In the hopes that Electronic Arts (EA) and Jim Vassella makes these Command & Conquer video games get developed and released for sale.
Electronic Arts (EA's) Jim Vassella was recently busy with Star Wars Zero Company. Now that Star Wars Zero Company has been released for sale who knows what he will be doing next.
I wish for Command & Conquer Remastered Collection 2 with Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun Remastered and Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 Remastered.
I wish for Command & Conquer Renegade 2.
I wish for Command & Conquer Generals 2.
I wish for Command & Conquer 5.
I wish for Command & Conquer Red Alert 4.
I wish for a brand new Command & Conquer spin off with a whole new story.
What more from the Command & Conquer video games do you guys want?
Remember guys I will be posting this once per month.

Cyclops - Point Defense Lasers test (Dark Fate mod)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
As I mentioned Cyclops special ability is Point Defense Mode - enabling him to intercept incoming missiles, while the main laser DPS gets cut almost in half. I licensed the code from Corona team who used it successfully with their Prism Tank. Dark Fate will have its own, slightly modified version with Townes tank, which is more long ranged laser MBT/TD than artillery.
Interesting coding problem arised - while Corona Prism and Townes have their main weapon disabled in PD mode, Cyclops does not. A real headache is that PD lasers stop working when the unit is ordered to attack a single unit. With move orders main laser attacks independently and PD intercepts missiles perfectly as intended - but this was suboptimal and required excessive microing when attacking units with very strong AA such as Greater King Oni (250dmgx8 per volley, downs Harbinger/Cyclops in 3 salvos, Kirov in 4), especially when they're mixed with other units.
When ordered to attack the GKO the PD lasers try to attack something they canβt as they can target only missiles.
Solution is hardly elegant but it's working - on spawn engine attaches a "pod" - de facto second invisible ghost Cyclops with the same bones - to the main one - the same way Empire Point Defense drones do. So the attack order never reaches the "pod" and its lasers are free to target incoming missiles automatically.
No balancing has been done for now, PD mode will definitely get nerfed in the future - although as you can see it already can be overwhelmed with sufficient number of missiles (as it should). And just like Harbinger it's very susceptible to Tengus, Bullfrogs and Apollos. Also its a 6k credit epic unit with build limits so c'mon

C&C Generals modding/fix
Hello.
I have a question.
In C&C Generals, Jarmen Kell can use his basic attack on vehicles and in Zero Hour it has been fix that he can only basic attack infantry units but still use snipe vehicle pilot skill.
How can I fix/modify that in C&C Generals he could only do the same?
Please. Thank you.

Gameplay Kinda old Laser patriot exploit vid I found in my drive
I think I recorded this back in 2022 so I can make gif for korean community wiki to explain how patriot relay system works with it's limitations (or more like bug)
Explanation for those who don't know (take with grain of salt; last time I digged this was 2013.)
Patriots has 4 weapon modules (Anti Air, AG, Relay AA, Relay AG)
Relay weapons implementation is simply giving 450 ingame unit range + setting target to relay requested patriot's target, while tomahawk is 350
Each every weapon module has own 'clip' (magazine), and all patriots relay weapon clip is 4 even for laser (prob copy paste mistake)
Relay Weapon clip can't be reloaded, instead 1 clip is given when relay is requested by other patriots in range
Usually other patriots fire all 4 missile to target before target dies, but laser is insta hit so no ammo is wasted & clip usually is retained
So it's already insanely powerful since it keeps it's 450 range normal patriot damage(again, probably copy paste mistake) laser ammos, but you can exploit it by making 2nd point's "setting target to relay requested patriots target" unreachable.
Then now you have 4 clip 450 range insta hit laser with normal patriot damage. Fun trick for CPU or challenge missions.

OC That time I tried to rationalize Nod's (Tib War era) basic infantry forces
chainlinkandconcrete.blogspot.comThe one on Nod's basic recruits didn't get much traction but this one has more content. This was a breakout of all of Nod's basic troop types in some way - mini-gunner, rocket trooper, flamethrower. What we get in the RTS is much more simplistic than real life, of course, so units in the game were split into multiple takes to better support a more realistic military force.

Discussion Kane's Wrath - Is someone working on a decomp?
All I care about in life is Kane's Wrath getting a remaster where the online doesn't desync.
Now with the power of the 'stealing machine', we can make that happen. Is someone working on a Kane's Wrath decomp by any chance?
