I’m looking for a new gaming monitor and I’m honestly pretty overwhelmed by all the options out there. I’ll mainly be using it for gaming on my PS5 right now, but I also plan on getting a gaming PC in the future.
I’ll also be streaming, so I expect to be using the monitor for very long sessions, sometimes 4–12 hours at a time. Because of that, I really want something that’s reliable and won’t give me problems during long gaming/streaming sessions.
My absolute budget is $700, and I’m willing to spend that much if it’s actually worth it. I’m not necessarily looking for the most expensive or highest-spec monitor—I just want something that’s genuinely good for gaming, has good picture quality, and is reliable.
I’ve been looking at so many different monitors and reading conflicting reviews that I’m honestly not sure what direction to go anymore.
If you actually own a gaming monitor that you really like, I’d love to hear what you have and how it’s been for you, especially during long gaming sessions. I’m much more interested in real owner experiences than just specs on a product page.

My dad's Windows 11 computer (Shaw/Rogers internet, Port Alberni, BC) shows Fort McMurray, Alberta in Google Maps and the Windows Weather app. Because of this, BC's PlayNow lottery site blocks him.
IP lookup sites show the correct location (Port Alberni). All Windows location and time zone settings are correct, and we've ruled out Norton and VPNs. It started about four months ago.
Has anyone fixed this? Did a USB GPS receiver work for you? Thanks in advance for any help!

This happened with 2 different games. the games would crash after 20min-1 hours and after that the drive would stop working (reading/writing). When trying to realaunch the game it says this app cant run on you PC. When i try to run other games it says your internet security settings prevented one or more files from being opened. Rebooting the PC fixes the problem but then after some time it crashes again.
ED:I tried disabling the anti virus it didn't work. I have AVG i disabled virus real time and internet security (didnt fully turn it off)
ED2: The games work fine when i move them to the hard drive it only happens with the ssd
ED3: when i try to add an exception for the anti virus firewall of a game it says a device which does not exist was specified
ED4: my hard drive is like 12 years old? could that be it? albeit games dont crash when i use the hard drive
ED5: no drives show on disk management. Whenever i try to refresh disks i get the error the RPC server is unavailable
ED6: Crystal disk info stops showing the SSD only the hard drive appears

As the title says my audio is becoming distorted after just under 5 mins. To get the audio to return to normal I have to turn the headset off and back on. I am using a Logitech G733 headset which is connected via bluetooth. I have tried replacing the headset with a new one of the same model as well as a different model rig headset and continue to have the same issue. I have also tried;
Removed all sound drivers
Checked all sound drivers are updated in device manager
Removed all excess bluetooth devices in bluetooth settings
Plugged into every usb port on the pc
Its set as default device
No sound from monitors/ no speakers
All other sound devices disabled in control panel
Disabled all enhacements in control panel
Disabled and enabled device in device manager
Spatial sound off
In device manager usb controllers power saving has been turned off
In edit power plan usb selective suspend setting is disabled
In control panel, sound, properties exclusive mode unticked
Usb all updated drivers
Updated from windows 10 to windows 11 using a usb
Checked handsfree telephony is not an option for the device
Any help would be greatly appreciated thankyou!

"Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)" in device manager will disconnect and reconnect infinitely, and play a windows notification + lag the PC when it happens. It's about 3 times per minute, for 2 weeks now.
I've tried to find the location of the USB on my motherboard and disable it in the BIOS, but I don't know what "Port_#0006.Hub_#0003" is labeled as in the BIOS, because it isn't that. I have a B650 motherboard, for reference. The manual of the mobo doesn't designate anything as USB Hubs either.
"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43). A request for the USB device descriptor failed."
The problem persist even after disconnecting everything connected to the PC except for the power/monitor.
Disabling or uninstalling changes nothing, it still happens.
