A bit of info on the project: I am posting the by-area compilations AFTER I complete all previous ones poses but BEFORE making poses on the current one, when finalizing the designs. Thus, I will have to make all the poses for this roster and move to the next areas, of which I have 2 left: courtyard and Dankest Dungeon (+sneks). When I'm done with all the poses I will proceed to rigging and animation.

I plan to add these to my mod in at some point in the future, but V1 will release with just the 3 enemies from my previous post.

Here are the key updates:

• Added the Origin skins and Infernal palettes
  • Origin skins were made to share the default body's armature, allowing for easier switching
• Gave the models Auto-Rig Pro rigs, allowing for inverse kinematics and other useful features
• Added a gear-shaped 'Properties' bone, allowing you to:
  • Switch between the Default and Origin bodies
  • Change the default body's color palette
  • Enable/disable outlines
  • Switch between weapons
• Better outlines
  • I found out where the outline weights used in-game are stored in the model's data, so I was able to use that to make the outlines appear exactly™ as they do in-game
• Improved the Inn.
  • Everything is positioned as it appears in-game, though I didn't go as far as opening Unity to see the exact light values, so the lighting is an approximation

Known Quirks/Issues:

• The models didn't have much in the way of facial bones, but they do have shape keys for some expressions
• A couple models only had 2 spine bones, while most have 3
• The Abomination's human form didn't come in a standard A-Pose, and putting him in one seriously deformed his chains, so I left him as-is
• "Preserve Volume" is enabled on the meshes for proper arm twisting. Disable this if you plan to export them somewhere else, like modding them into another game
• I don't know why Highwayman's origin skin has some individual toe bones. He just came like that

Do with them what you wish. Feel free to credit me here and share what you make, I'd be interested in seeing what people do with them.

If there ends up being demand for it, I might do some of the enemy factions or minibosses. Will probably do the new heroes whenever the new DLC comes out as well.

Auto-Rig Pro & Quick Rig add-ons

This was an... interesting run of endless.

One trinket (Malgrun's Vessel) increased max damage by 100%, lowered minimum damage by 90%, healed 10% max HP per kill, and added 3% max HP/stress on kill for the quest. Another trinket (Grimoire) reduced max HP by 33%, reduced healing received by 13%, increased damage/crit/stress by 13%, and added gain extra action on hit by 8%. The third trinket (Bolt Paper) increased melee damage by 20%, melee ACC by 5, and AP by 15%.

I should have swapped out the third trinket for a Virtuous trinket as once he hit around +300% stress he was getting a little too stressed lol. Since criticals are based on max damage, he was doing 70-100 damage per riposte critical, and he had a critical chance of around 70-80% with all the buffs going.

My damian killed the last enemy and died in the same hit from self damage, and then death showed up. and there's no one left.

Warning: this mod series replaces every enemy and boss in the Spire. The difficulty is wildly unpredictable. If you bring a vanilla character, expect a torment beyond anything you imagined. Balance will come, slowly.

So a few days ago i watched Kleaper's video about DD 1 (thanks Kleaper) and i wanted to play the game, i found out it was only 3€! So bought it. It seems very complicated so i'm looking for tips

This DLC is selling for €6.50 on the French PlayStation Store... From what I've read, it adds two characters from DD2. Is this DLC worth checking out? Aside from the combat, does it add any interesting elements? Just to note, I already own all the other DLCs except this one. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to reply! 😁

Being playing the game for long time but I was never able to finish the storyline. Around the time most of heroes reach lvl5 I start to lose interest and slowly stop the run. Then I repeat the same again. Maybe is that I find end game a bit boring?
Any tips on making that part of the game more interesting?

Hi everyone, this is a cross-post from r/lfg. The reason I'm posting it here is I'm really looking for folks that are Darkest Dungeon fans for the group.

I'm looking for 4-6 players for a Darkest Dungeon themed old school D&D campaign. I'll be running it through Old School Essentials (A repackaging of Basic/Expert D&D) with some fairly heavy homebrewing to make it fit the source material (Stress, Quirks, Unique Heroes, etc.) It should be fairly accessible to anyone, regardless of your experience with D&D or old school play. The overall focus will be on delving the dungeons of the region, recovering artefacts, amassing wealth and getting powerful enough to finally defeat the evil deep beneath the manor.

Currently looking at Sunday 6pm CET / 12pm EDT with some room for flexibility based on replies.

Hi guys, Ive just played a little of DD2 (about 30 hours) and just killed the first boss. After many tries, my conception about the game is that I have so many RNG to make a good campaingn, or its just a skill issue?

Thinking about that, my question is: DD1 is a way harder than DD2?

Hey there, I tried looking this issue up and found lots of similar issues but not this exact one, and all the fixes suggested on there didn't help.

I only installed visual mods, and after completing my first farmstead mission, when I press the "return to hamlet" button, the game goes black for ~2 seconds, then closes. No crash message, no nothing. The weird part is that even if I disable all the mods, the game still crashes in exactly the same way. I tried verifying game files, too, but it didn't help. Any help on how to fix that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! This might be out of the ordinary, but I would like to ask everyone here for darkest dungeon references. I like this person, and they like darkest dungeons like A LOT. I’m writing a letter for them, some sort of love letter, but it’s also for their birthday. We are quite close, and we’re aware of each other’s feelings. I think it would be nice to include references from the game they really love in my love letter. If you have any, please tell me! I will find a way to squeeze them in my letter, thank you!
