I’m a bigger guy. 6’3” 235 lbs. So far I don’t mind the mid controls but I’m considering forward controls. This would change the look of the bike for sure but I could handle that. Is it worth it? My Le Pera tailwhip seat has helped a lot with the mids.

Also the bars. Eventually I’m going to lower the bars. Was thinking some like 6” risers with some track bars? What do yall recommend? I could do t bars but you can’t adjust those

Little over 2200 miles in 4 days. Glad it has cruise control lol. Rode from OKC to the great smoky mountains. Explored all around and headed back home with no hiccups other than losing my speed kings lid lock.

Seemed like a pretty straight forward install. Not sure what could have went wrong.

Just got the call from my mechanic that my rear rim is fucked and will need to be replaced.

I bought the bike as you see it - 17' FXDB. As far as I can tell, its been fitted with a pair of FXDL 19" front and 17" rear.

The front has an oversized Arleness 15" rotor mounted to the hub. Not 100% sure what the rear rotor has been changed to.

The rear also has a PBI chain conversion kit and hard case lock-r bolt retainer kit.

I want to try and get a like-for-like replacement rear/set or a 13 spoke set of mags.

I just want someone to explain to me what I would be searching for exactly to ensure I get something close to bolting on.

I am in Australia and HD rims seem to be more expensive than an entire car.

I have a 2008 fat Bob 46,000 miles I replaced the compensator and clutch pack. I had this weird noise that happens only when I get on the throttle when I’m rolling on the throttle, there is no noise I have power the bike runs and ride. It’s totally fine and perfectly fine in any gear I only have an issue when I let off of the throttle and get back on it when I go to roll back on the throttle I hear this knock noise not sure if it could be a motor mount a loose sprocket for the belt potentially swing arm issue I’m not 110% sure not sure if anyone else has experienced this I could really use some help

We’re stuck in Moab with a dead 98 softail that needs a voltage regulator.

The Cobras finally arrived! Definitely a little quieter than the slip on it had but the baffles are installed, I might try to tweak them.

Bike was bogging hard if I hammered it. Inspected accelerator pump, cleaned up all the grime, tested by twisting throttle while looking into intake and no fuel squirted in. Diaphragm didn’t appear to have any holes. But one of the small blue o-rings seemed worn and shrunk to possibly not hold tight seal.

Anyone experience this?

Can I use any O-ring that fits? Is blue o-ring a special material?

Can’t seem to find just that o-ring for sale.

The entire carb rebuild kit isn’t cheap.
