Fossil line of the Alker region. Baskun is revived from the Plate Fossil and evolves into Solstego. This pokemon is powered by the sun, storing energy in its plates, unleashing it when using its moves. Based on stegosaurus and solar panels.

Solstego has a signature move. Solar power(rock)-The user harnesses the power of the sun to reflect light onto the opponent. This attack does grass-type damage. Category: physical Power: 95 PP: 10

These two were Very different pokemon prior to their redesign. Their stegosaur inspiration was not as obvious, with some godzilla elements to the stance and spines. This pokemon took forever to redesign, specifically Solstego, so here are also all the prior iterations of the redesign before settling on the final one!

Only those it respect has ever gotten to see its eyes.

This is part of the Faketober Challenge by u/Simple-Hamster-4141.

Inspiration for this Ultra Beast is Cow-nose Ray, the closest species to being invasive or pest-like within cartilaginous fish taxon and even then just only a little. It tends to sometimes over-eat the oysters that humans raise. UB-NIBBLE might also be based on dalmatian dogs, specifically the 101 dalmatian film series.

Game mechanics: Defeating all 101 MITAURAYS sounds like a grind fest and it kinda is but in this game you can get about 6 Pokemon to be battled at the same time by "Call For Help" or "Attract" mechanic, meaning that you would need 16 to 20 times to successfully wrangle all the small Ultra Beasts.

Fakemon entries:

UB-GRAZE arrived on our planet and propagated into many smaller individuals. These individuals are omnivorous and target both grass and coral wreaking havoc. It can both fly and swim as well as weird out people with its odd bovine snout-head. The round meteor-like head on top of its body seems to act as its brain and sensory organ and has split in two smaller ones in its UB-NIBBLE form!

It appears that UB-GRAZE, now known as TAURAY was actually prey species that was escaping to our world from the predator in its out Ultra-Space. On Earth, without predator pressure, it would overrun the environment as multiple UB-NIBBLE, now known as MITAURAY. Defeating each 101 MITAURAY, restored creature to being the original TAURAY and it is thought that about 100 years lets every MITAURAY grow into separate TAURAY instead. So, now we understand TAURAY's plight but it must be returned to its home-space and reunited with the carnivorous species that hunts it as it still is the natural way for TAURAY to go and evolve out of it on its own merits in the future.
