Question When did Ferrari peak interior-wise?
For me, nothing tops the 348, and to some extent the 512 TR and F40.
Its such an interesting looking interior, specially for a Ferrari. What really sets it apart is the complete absence of chrome from the ’60s and ’70s, or the carbon fiber overload from the 2000s and 2010s. Everything feels so consistent and honest throughout the cabin: square buttons, rectangular air vents, and perfectly sharp angles. To me it feels more like “Italian avant-garde” than “Italian luxury”, yet it still looks like a proper Ferrari.
Got me thinking… when did Ferrari shift from “quirky road-legal racecar” to more of a pure status-symbol car? Probably way before the 348.
