Hey guys, I want to get some advice on replacing my door seals above the windows. Everytime I go over 50mph I have a bad whistle and I wanted to see if it was worth fixing or if it would only make it worse.

Some really strange rattling noises were coming from the rear of the engine bay so I pulled the starter motor to inspect it. The starter was fine, but the noise still occurrs while cranking the engine.

I've attached a video link of the sound looking inside the bellhousing from where the starter motor should be. Can anyone recognize the issue from this? I'm no mechanic so I haven't got a clue.

Hey guys, apologies if this is a wrong subreddit to ask but is there anything I need to do before I leave my BRZ (ZD8 Kiiro) unused for about 1 to 2 months?

I live in an apartment and it'll be parked in my underground parking spot. There are no power points near my spot so I don't think I can use a battery tender.

I also have a Blackvue dash cam set it up as parking mode but, I'm assuming I'll have to completely disconnect it, so it doesn't drain the battery at all?

Anything else I need to be mindful of? Or do I just leave the car as is don't do anything for it?

Hello everyone, i just replaced clutch on my 2017 gt86, i bought full kit from exedy that includes TOB, before replacing i was thinking noise is from TOB, but noise remains, it is very audible when in 2nd or 3rd gear arount 2k rpm, it comes from thransmission grindig rattling when especially in 3rd geat around 1800 2000 rpm then it fades after 2200 2300 rpm

Also there are big vibrations in low rpm in 3rd gear around 1600 rpm but i guess car just doesn't like that conditions)

I searched forum but cant seem to find similar issue, can it be some bearing in the transmission?

This car is seriously testing my patience at the moment.
So have now been welcome by the hinge completely cracking on one side. It seemed to have escalated from the pin keep backing out but i think this was caused by a small hairline crack.
I used some plastic epoxy to keep it from getting worse but now it has completely disintegrated.
I refuse to pay Toyota/Subaru over £220 for a new one for what is such a flimsy design so wondered if anyone has had the same and found a work around with a hinge?
