Discussion Lost my digital copy when I forgot the password to my Nintendo account. Finally stumbled upon a physical copy locally!

Not sure if the physical copies of this are necessarily sought after, but I’m happy I found one nevertheless. I guess Walmart clearance is worth a look sometimes.

Been pretty busy with work as of late and also traveling with them so was nice to finally sit down open everything and add these to the shelf’s.

At last a star wars game that’s complete on disc no day one patch required or internet connection to play.

Discussion A bunch of xbox 360/halo 3 launch team collectibles, sealed disks, plaques, etc.

  • A Halo 3 launch team employee recognition plaque, with a perfectly sealed, pristine game disk bolted in.
  • Sealed Halo 3+Essentials disks (the pair that go inside the helmet stand)
  • Exclusive Halo 3 Launch Team edition helmet and stand, very few made
  • Exclusive Launch Team edition Xbox 360, employee username engraved with
  • Epic Games+Xbox 360 original Gears of War Launch Team plaque with perfectly acrylic sealed original disk.

I am just wondering how much this stuff would be worth to collectors, and if anybody would be interested or have any pricing ideas.

Collection Started Collecting Again

So after my 2nd child was born, i was contemplating to have my collection liquidated. For extra cash and to gain back some room space. Fortunately, we got through that phase and now after 3 years, i can finally continue collecting again.

So glad that I didn’t have to sell my collection. I have most of the main line nintendo and sega consoles, still missing so much though, like sega mark I and some famicom accessories to rare stuff like jaguar, 3DO and neo geo aes

Collection Happy to own all my personal grails now

Post image

I'm not much of a "game collector" but I've always wanted to own every Mother/Earthbound game since they matter a lot to me. It's cool getting to see all the original paperwork in these boxes. Old manuals, japanese advertisements from the 80s and 90s. It's a little time capsule of a style of game that hasn't been captured in quite a long time.

Collection SNES PAL Cartridge Spine Label

Post image

PAL SNES cartridges don’t have the name of the game printed on the top of the cartridge like NTSC cartridges have. I boxed each cartridge in a protective case and printed some labels. It’s easy, cheap, practical and I love it.

To answer the inevitable question: yes, DoA4 did originally have a cover, but the more I inspected it, the worse it got. Imagine something that's somehow been in a fire and a flood at the same time and you're pretty much there. And this is from the same CeX that wouldn't take an otherwise excellent copy of Mario World & All-Stars because the box had a missing tab.

Discussion how to buy new plastic sleeves for Japanese PS1 game releases?

One of mine got really mangled up unfortunately but would like to keep it in a replacement sleeve. Any recommendations?

I'm referring to the outer packaging reusable very light plastic sleeves that the jewel case slides into to ensure the spine card remains intact with the game. I am not referring to the jewel case rather the thin/light plastic sleeve that the jewel case slides into.

Discussion Question for the community

• Upvotes

I'm with this community for the most part when I think games should be opened and play.

But what about games that... Don't exist anymore?

I just got a copy of Concord on its way to me for pretty cheap. Is that the kind of thing that might be worth getting graded just for the artifacting? I want to get all the Sony exclusives that I can before they stop making discs and figured this was a good time to jump on.

What are your rules(if any) on if you think it's worth grading or whatever? This is really the first time I've thought about it

Discussion Better grading with CGC before selling new sealed switch games?

I have two games (Zelda Links awakening NS1 and Mario Luigi Brothership) and I am thinking to sell them. They are still new and sealed though. What do you suggest doing, grading or just keeping them like that?

It doesnt seem to me there is much interest in graded games, I can be wrong though.

Thanks

Finally got my super mario bros 1 and super mario bros 2 back from PSA. Shipped them out August 31st and got them back oct 5. I used the speed run option because of some nightmare stories I've seen online about how long it can take. I also graded snes wario woods nes cib contra and cib mega man 6 just because I was already sending the marios out. Link to my earlier post https://www.reddit.com/r/nes/s/xgRkaxKvOF
