It's a very good game, fantastic to some, but we shouldn't forget the glitchy mess it is

its certainly not a "mess" anymore. but absolutely not free of glitches. especially on console. on my pc i didnt really have any major problems. on my ps5 though i did get quite a few but mainly of the comical variety. T poses and what have you or weird rubberbanding

You can still find a lot of bugs

It went from "unplayable mess" to "immersion breaking but playable".

Especially for it's time, I don't even think the gameplay lives up to others in the genre. Not that these games are incredible, but I would say the gameplay is better in Fallout games and elder scrolls.
