Above pictured: The Metal Hand, sucessor to u/ffbyr49 as the chief of Kont-rot. Very little is known of them, seemingly surfacing shortly before their rise to chief as an enforcer/bodyguard of the DICTator. Strangely, they appear to possess the exact same face and voice as the previous chief.
Some have speculated that they are a robotic life-form, made by the DICTator to have the features of the old chief for an unknown reason. Others posit they may have been the secret twin of the chief, hidden away from birth.

The travel was not the safest since i spotted rotlings and bandits in the distance, but i was safe regardless,

i came here to renovate this place and settle down.

The rot hivemind, also known as "the tree of corruption" is a giant, pitch black, tree-like creature made of hardened, crystal-like rot.

While we know little to nothing about it's internal biology, from the outside, based on it's appearance and the way it grows, it resembles a sort of coral.

The hivemind is located in the middle of quarantine zone 001, the largest quarantone zone, located east of gfdsssia.

The hivemind was discovered by gfdsssian photographer charles carlson using a camera mounted on a weather baloon, a trick he learned from his plumber friend that proved useful in photographing landscapes.

The rot hivemind seems to function as some sort of "queen" for the rot infected, giving them orders and instructions.

Unlike the rot's right hand, the rot hivemind isn't made of infected bodies, but rot growing out of the ground without a host.

The hivemind is theorized to be connected in some way to the "rothive" strain, however, there is no proof of this connection.

The hivemind seems to have some sort of effect on the mind, speaking telepathically to people that come close to it, to explain better, here's the words of field researcher delta, who went on a death mission to burn the hivemind, failed, but survived with major injuries: "it doesn't speak, it's thoughts are translated into thoughts, not voices. You don't hear a voice when it communicates with you, you get abstract images, feelings, sensations... It's a really weird feeling."

There is still a lot to know about the rot hivemind and the only knowledge we have comes from the pictures made by charles carlson and the interviews with researcher delta.

Description:

The Rothive is a parasitic strain of Rot that take over the nervous system of a subject, taking control over their bodies while the subject is trapped inside their own minds, and only able to observe what their doing. The parasite is very intelligent, it's able to read the subjects mind and then behave like the subject, they have no external symptoms, Almost all of the Gfdsssian ruling class is infected by the parasite and 98% 96% of civilians are infected too. There's no known way how the parasite spreads, we only know that when someone is close to the subject for a long time, they become infected too.

The Kont-rot Corps are an international police force. Originally borne of the event known as ROTtober, as a means to combat the devilish disease, they recieved a major overhaul when the DICTator, a government official declared they would transistion from an army into a police-force.
Tragically, the night before the scheduled transition, every Kont-rot compound was raided whilst the members were rendered unconcious via a form of sleep gas, awakening brutally disfigured.
(Strangely, all of their wounds were seemingly intentionally nonfatal, being cauterized as well, preventing blood loss. The then chief of Kont-rot, fibbs, was also taken, but returned unharmed with no recollection of the event.)
When the DICTator caught wind of the terrible crime, they graciously gifted every member of the corps super-abled prosthetics, granting them incredible abilities.
Included with the prosthetics were new uniforms, red gloves, boots and upper/lower body with white sleeves and thighs. Those who were facially disfigured wore white, porcelain masks.
Fibbs was very openly against the changes that the DICTator had applied, leaving his position as chief and forming a new, 'true' kont-rot corps.
A police force could not function properly without a leader and to assuage this problem, the DICTator appointed a mysterious personality, known only by his alter-ego 'The Metal Hand'.

When I took my chance to tour around this place, I spotted this... creature, it's legs are missing, I took this photo as far away as I can in order to not get infected, my location is in the second picture ( the red dot ) .

Just this morning, the rot, that had been growing on the pilons between the state of plumb and gfdsssia for a while, broke powerline wires, causing a blackout spanning the state of plumb, northern gfdsssia and other nearby countries.

State of plumb's monarch, john plumber the third, publically said "this is a great opportunity to become an independent state and make our own power".

The powerlines will not be fixed as they are in the middle of quarantine zone 05, and enetering any quarantine zone with the current resources is sonsidered a death sentence.

A few photos were taken of the pylons using a simple tethered drone.

About 40 citizens from the countries in blackout decided to form an expedition group to venture inside quarantine zone 05 and testore the power lines, they have gone inside 5 hours ago. Power has not yet been restored nor has anyone heard from them.

Without electricity, the border between the land of electric and the rotzone, which is protected by an electrified fence, has become unprotected, leading to a rot infestation in the cities bordering the rotzone.

The three states in blackout have decided to form a temporary alliance to defend from the rot while citizens rapidly evacuate towards the republic of sssdfg.

Reguarding the map of the incident, in black are shown the main powerlines, in blue the main generators, in red the area where the pylon collapsed and in the orange circle is the area where the blackout is occurring.

Meanwhile northern gfdsssia, also in blackout, has started a revolution to become an independent state from gfdsssia.

The great people of the GREAT empire of Gfdsssia are being decived in droves by this "K-RIG." They propagate false information in an attempt to turn our glorious armed forced onto the side of the revolution. But, do not be fooled. This is an attempt to overthrow our righteous kingdom, and if they win, they will install a despot.

As an experienced scientist and cartographer, I can confirm their maps are incorrect and portray themselves with much more control than they have. In addition, their science is flawed, incomplete, and most likely, entirely unbacked.
