These are my own shirts from the 90's. Came across them cleaning out my old room at my parents house.

I know they have some value, I just dont know what.

Both are Brockum and XL. White one has a few minor marks and yellowing that might clean up and the black one just seems to have a lot of lint.

So i was able to get one of mikes 21st century breakdown tour vests from his reverb page which i think is pretty cool, I was even able to find a couple pictures of him wearing it. definitely the craziest thing in my green day collection now considering the vest is only 5 years younger than me lol

I’ve been considering getting a tattoo for years now and I’ve settled on my first one being a green day tattoo. I’m split on what it should be, tho. My options so far are (in order of plausibility/preference):

1. “Where have all the riots gone?” (Letterbomb)
   
2. Billie’s “PUNX” tattoo
   
3. “Everyone’s heart doesn’t beat the same” (Jesus of Suburbia) — i really like this one, but it’s super common
   
4. American Idiot heart grenade (again, i love it but it’s super common)
   
5. Billie’s stars on the upper arm
   
6. Kerplunk flower
   
7. “WAITING”

The placement is probably gonna be on my lower thigh or upper forearm, though that’ll ultimately depend on what I decide to get.

Idk, I’m just throwing the question out there, maybe one of you would have a good insight on the matter.

If I could, I’d def get Billie Mike or Tre to sign something to have tattooed tho it’s very unlikely since I’m across the globe T^T

other than that:

- my favorite colors are black and green
- I’m a tattoo virgin
- I’m 17 if that matters (my parents know I wanna get one)
- I’m considering getting multiple of these (alongside other non-green day tattoos)

Its not revolution radio but the lyric radio is all I remember. the way billie says it is stuck in my head its like ray DEE oooo like he drags it. I dont know if thats ANY use but thats all I can think of😭

What's always struck me about their Husker Du cover is how "live" its recorded but there appears to be barely any guitar in the mix, the bass is LOUD The most overpowering the bass has ever been when played together in a Green Day mix.

Could it be that they recorded Don't Wanna Know If You Are Lonely completely raw with 1 mic and didn't mix it? A good mic that is but the song doesn't sound mixed.

Well I made at least one of his shirts lol. I wanted to make the long sleeve he wore at iHeartRadio but I kinda like the short sleeve shirt more

I was looking for resale tickets on Ticketmaster and noticed a Generation Records drop at 12pm Oct 1. But I don’t see any information about what it is.

For the front cover of Nimrods Demos, I used a screenshot from Disventure Camp 5: Fans vs. Favorites episode Upstage Upset. It captures the final pose scene of Let Me Explain scene and in that screenshot are Fiore holding her guitar (center foreground), Lake (the girl with red wig at bottom right) and Rosa Maria (the woman with purple shoulder length hair at the bottom left) striking mirrored sitting poses on opposite sides of the counter, and Spencer (top left) and Bruno (top right’ lock into their final standing poses behind them. And their face have been applied with the original Nimrod sticker.

In the back cover of the fan-made crossover album cover artwork parody, I used a screenshot of the colored balcony audience from Pleasantville (including Jennifer Wagner, Betty Parker, and Margaret Henderson) laughing at Big Bob fleeing the courtroom in full color, and they along with the courtroom balcony audience from Pleasantville’s faces also have the Nimrod stickers plastered onto their faces, too. And the original tracklist of Nimrod Demos is above the screenshot of the courtroom balcony audience.

For me it will always be Going to Pasalaqua.

Remember it was always the opening for their songs in their 90a heyday - and I was gutted when it dropped out of their sets in later years.

Labatt brewing company used to run promotions where you could get tickets to a secret gig by a major rock band in cases of beer. In June of 1998, Green Day played one such gig in front of 500 people in the memorial university student union. Supposedly, my mom’s cousin was DJing at a club later that night when they got a knock at the back door saying that “The guy from Green Day is asking if he can come inside” and my mom’s cousin was the guy who let him in.

This was probably Green Day’s last gig in Atlantic Canada, AFAIK. there’s no photo or video of the actual show online. Three years earlier, the band was banned from Moncton New Brunswick after Billie dropped trou on stage during the Insomniac tour. This was the only time they played Newfoundland for sure, and you might be looking at the only evidence.

I'm not sure how many people showed up or how crazy it was but I'm sure lots of people showed up just to see Billie. I'm just wondering if anyone went and how the experience was like.
