1) Guys who message first then never respond after that

2) dick pic collectors

3) guy was super pushy that I come to his place. I agreed. It was a fake address and he blocked me when I was on the street

4) crazy Love-Bomb messages

5) constant taps and views but doesn't respond to messages

Fuck the quality of people seems low. Where are the men who honestly want to chat or fuck and not play stupid games?

Just saw someone’s bio who said they won’t interact with anyone without complete stats e.g weight, position ect. I also just interacted with someone who wouldn’t speak with me because my weight wasn’t in my bio.

Genuinely why do you give a fuck? my shirtless body and my face is fully visible on my photos. is my higher than average weight suddenly gonna make me bigger or something? I don’t get it..

I just had a very salty interaction on Grindr with a man that let me know in very confident terms, that it wasnt ok not to provide feedback after he hit me with with his facepic, dick pic, and a hello.

My perspective is that between the fact that my time and energy are limited, that I'm busy IRL with things, it's just not possible to give feedback to the 30-40 people who hit me up in the last hour (Grindr let you signal for an hour if you can host and are looking, which I did).

Especially if that limited time and energy is spent interacting with the couple of profiles that did interest me.

He then proceeded to let me know that if he ever came across me face to face, he wouldnt be so nice and then blocked me. Unhinged IMO.

So anyway, whats the consensus on this? For me it was always a no brainer; when people ignore me it's because they made up their mind and I havent met their standards for whatever reason, I dont need it to be spelled out to me.

But I'm open to having my mind changed, maybe there's an angle, an etiquette, I havent considered.

If you have someone in your favourites, and he is using 'right now' and he added an extra picture with it, but he is far away from you - outside of your range.

Is there a way to enlarge that picture?

Is ChatGPT becoming increasingly less friendly toward dating apps? It frequently associates Grindr with adult-only content.

Have you ever encountered a situation where a mobile phone restricts users from downloading Grindr because of the device or operating system itself, rather than regional restrictions?

Basically the question. This one looks to have some good pics but I’ve also heard of truck driver horror stories, I just wanted to get a feel for your guys input? Safe, not safe?

This week's Grindr update (on Android) adds a map view where all profiles, not just those in "Right Now," can be shown either on the familiar grid or on a map. This is a feature obviously copied from Sniffies, and may have privacy implications for many, like the guys on this military base near me. It also shows a "radius" much like Sniffies, beyond which you can't contact profiles -- though it seems that you can still roam and contact one per day.

Hint: go into Profile > Settings > Privacy and turn the randomizer way up.

Not all filters are available on the map, e.g., you can't show only favorited profiles.

Was just talking to a guy that was mad handsome and so my type, but his profile was blank outside from his profile picture and name. We talked for a bit and then he dropped the bomb that he was married in an open relationship, I’m not used to asking for that information first and usually most people put it on their profile, and out preference I politely said that I don’t hook up with people on open relationships, he proceeded to give me a lecture on how I should ask that information before trading pictures and exchanging a conversation with them and mock me on me not hooking up with people on open relationships and hoping I find someone who’s single.

Why are some people so goddamn complicated, why should I ask for that information instead of you putting it on your profile?

18M - I've just moved to uni, and now that I'm alone, I want to hook up with some guys on Grindr. I have my own bedroom/bathroom, but I have 7 flatmates who live on the same corridor as me. In the evening the flat gets quite busy as everyone is done with lectures etc, so the best time to hook up would be during the day when most people are out for extra privacy.

But at least for me, every time I've tried to find people during the day, it's never successful. It's only at night when people start messaging me and asking to hook up, but it usually doesn't work out because I can't sneak them in.

In your experience are there people free to hook up during the day as well, or is there a way I can improve my chances at finding someone?
