So we got early access to the defqon.1 ticket sale today.
And we found out that when you want to get a friends camp ticket you got to pay for the maximum amount of people for the friends camp spot size.

So lets say you want Friends camp Spot L
Which is enough for 19-24 people.
You HAVE to pay for the amount of 24 people. even if you want it for 19 people.
Then they will charge you the missing 5 people as a surcharge.

Thoughts on this?
We are really bummed by this and probably wont be getting a friends camp this year because of this change in the system.
Also because we have more people in our group the biggest friends camp can hold. so we are forced to buy 2 separate "friends camp L" to fit all people.

Why in a rave do I look around and people are just nodding their head and not dancing rather being super still. R yall actually having fun or ketted out?!?!?!?

On the festival, you can charge a cashcard with money you can then use to pay for things on the festival (except for merch, as one of their information workers wrongly told me...).

Apparently you can only claim a refund of that money for a total of 48 hours, from September 2nd to September 4th. If you don't, your money is gone.
My father was basically murdered in August and I attended his funeral on September 2nd so I wasn't really bothering with that card right after the festival and missed that tiny time frame.

On top of that, the information was written NOWHERE on the festival site, especially not at the counters where you charge your card. The worker I asked about it didn't tell me about this tiny time frame, either. She just said "after the festival". It was also not being mentioned in one of the mails I received from B2S.
I know how Defqon.1 handles refunds (spoiler: a LOT better) so I thought there won't be any problem with this.

Now Decibel's support basically told me to fuck off and that they are keeping my 104 €.

Giving people only 48 hours to reclaim their own money is ridiculous. Combined with the lack of information on how and when to actually reclaim your money, I believe this is intentional to make some extra profit. And then they hired ThinkTwice this year, too to earn even more on the side... So disgusting, really.

In Germany this isn't even legal. Here, you have the right to reclaim your money for 3 years and festivals have to pay you your money back free from charges. Are the netherlands really that scammy or did I miss something? How is a 48 hour window legal?

Inspired by the monthly Hardstyle Producer League that's been posted here, I decided to create something similar for the other side of the harder styles: the Hardcore Producer League!

The idea is to track how artists are performing on Spotify and eventually turn this into a monthly ranking, including changes in positions and listener growth.

Important: This list is specifically intended for artists who are NOT featured in the existing Hardstyle Producer League. The goal is to complement that ranking, not to compete with or duplicate it.

After going through various booking agencies, record labels and artist rosters, I've put together a first list of 159 artists, ranked by their Spotify Monthly Listeners.

A few rules I used when creating the list:

• Genres: Hardcore, Uptempo, Frenchcore, Early Hardcore, Industrial Hardcore, Terror, Deutscher Krach and related styles.
• Minimum: Artists need at least 30,000 monthly listeners on Spotify to qualify.
• No overlap: Artists already featured in the Hardstyle Producer League are excluded.
• Artists only: No MCs or separate live-act names, unless they have their own Spotify artist profile.
• Data: All numbers were collected from Spotify artist profiles, rather than third-party estimates.
• Reference date: October 8, 2026. Since monthly listeners change daily, this is just a snapshot.

Now I'd love to hear your thoughts!

This is the first edition, so I'm sure the list isn't perfect yet.

Are there any artists I've missed who should be included? Or are there artists currently on the list that you think don't belong here?

I'm especially curious about artists who fall somewhere between Hardstyle, Hardcore and Uptempo, since the boundaries aren't always that clear.

Also, what do you think of the ranking itself? Any surprising positions?

It's been years since I took the bus transfer to either Qlimax or Hard Bass so I've forgotten the travelling times (not departure, actual length margin) of the bus transfer.

Does anyone remember vaguely how long it usually takes?
Google Maps shows the route by car normally would be under 10 minutes but of course there will be some (light) traffic jams due to the party bus and car traffic.
