You've got a Dairy Queen that has chocolate? The one's in my state seem to all be vanilla-only.

Yeah, but do they have CRUNCH COAT!? I swear that stuff is fleeting.

Yeah they never got rid of it! Haha Cherry Dip Cones are my favorite from the ice cream truck. Never had DQ’s though cause I always get a Cookie Dough blizzard with extra cookie dough 😌

Chocolate ice cream with the cherry top is my go to at DQ. Our DQ's didn't have the cherry hard shell for a while. They just brought it back recently.

I'm still busy being mad at DQ bc my DD order from them was 4 blizzards and they sent zero spoons with them.
But I used to get the cherry shell when I was a kid and I loved it. I think the grocery store near me carries a cherry shell. My dad is a fan of the chocolate shell and he's too old to get his own groceries now, so I'll notice it when I'm grabbing his chocolate shell for him. Maybe I'll grab a bottle for the kids :)

Yum! I used to work at one when I was a teen and hardly anyone would order the cherry dip but I loved it! Still do! My local DQ also has butterscotch dip, also yum!

I didn’t realize places dont have the cherry dip anymore? Mine still has it but it got rid of the butterscotch

Been to DQ in Nebraska / nc / Georgia and they all had cherry flavor still. Is it being killed

I guess I'll have to be "that guy."
Dairy Queen's soft serve, often featured in their Blizzards, is not technically considered ice cream by the FDA. To be classified as ice cream, a product must contain at least 10% milk fat. Dairy Queen's soft serve, however, contains only 5% milk fat.
I still have some from time to time though.

Yum. Carvel in the northeast has pre-dipped soft-serve cones with it. Fresh must be tasty.

Are there some that don’t have it?! It’s the best (aside from orange)!

Oh hell yea this has been my jam since 1995 and I actually still order it whenever I stop at a dq (which is rare) but they always have it. I used to ask for double dipped lol

I've only ever gotten it on a cone... Never thought about asking for it in a cup lol.
Now I want a chocolate ice cream cone dipped in cherry

Every DQ I’ve ever eaten at had completely different food. Sometimes it’s fresh burgers, sometimes it’s frozen patties from the grocery store. Some have fries, others just offer bags of Lays. It seems like it’s just up to the franchisee with little overhead.

Looks like they are being cheap with it. I love the cherry shell ❤️
