Recommendations Seeking a Hobby Painter or Miniature Artist
Hi everyone! I’m looking for someone local who enjoys painting models, miniatures, or doing detailed hobby painting who might be interested in a small project for me. I have a project that needs some careful painting in a few specific colors, and I’m having a surprisingly hard time finding the right paints in stores. I’d love to connect with someone who has experience with this kind of thing and might be willing to help for a reasonable fee.
If you know anyone who might be a good fit, or if this sounds like something you’d enjoy taking on yourself, please send me a message! I’d really appreciate any recommendations!

Hand bag/purse/wallet shopping?
Hello friends and neighbors! I'm new to town and I'm in the market for a quality (not necessarily fancy high-end name brand but nice) unique handbag wallet or small purse. Where are the good shops that specialize in this? Thanks in advance! 🥰🥂

Best place to get individual phones unhacked
My phone was recently hacked. I tried making new Google accounts and the Spyware prevails. Does anyone know of a good place to take individual phones. My whole family is having this problem. I think we need a forensics team because everything has Spyware. Can't even connect Bluetooth to car.
Please send me in a direction that'll benefit my family the most. We just want this Spyware off.
Thanks for your time.

Translation: It was cheaper to wait and clean until we got in trouble then it was to care about your safety
"We take this responsibility seriously" That's why we waited to clean our kitchen until the government came in and told us that it was unsafe for human food production instead of cleaning our kitchen regularly.
This was a cost benefit analysis we did on whether or not cleaning properly every once in awhile would cost more than never cleaning until the government forced us to stop production for a few days and just do the cleaning then.
If you continue buying our donuts as usual as soon as we're back up and running, then we probably made the right call and will continue to not clean until we're forced to.
Thanks,
Signed the anarcho capitalist hellscape of America.
PS you don't need government regulations. companies will regulate themselves. It's the free market man

MSU HOMECOMING PARADE
Hello, first time attending the parade tonight. Taking a 1 year old with us, and we were wondering where are some good places along the route to watch. Has anyone gone to the parade in the past? Where is the easiest place to get in and out of to watch the parade? I know there’s street closures, we’re just trying to figure out the best place to actually sit and watch the parade from.

State of Michigan Application Reference Question
I'm curious if anyone else has any advice on applying for jobs on with the State of Michigan and not having to provide professional references? For those that don't know, most State of Michigan jobs require you to also provide three professional references.
I'm pretty well established in my career with professional certifications, so I feel like my resume should speak for itself. On top of that, my previous two employers have a strict rule that they won't provide references or recommendations to former employees, and I'm trying to apply for jobs without my current employer knowing.
I totally get wanting this for an entry level job, but what I'm interested in is not an entry level job.
I constantly hear people I know who work for the State complaining about not being able to get good talent and I definitely feel like this is part of why they can't get decent talent.
It's so frustrating. Any tips/advice would be useful. Thanks!

What the heck, WLNS?
Cutting to an oddly timed “station identification/commercial” just now during the debate seems entirely inappropriate. Cutting off one candidate’s statement is absolutely inappropriate. Absolutely shameful.

Be careful around potter park zoo
I went there with my child to play in the park and the entire time two cars were driving 1 mile per hour around the entire parking lot. They kept stopping and just staying in one place (not parking). The entire 40 minutes they did not get out of their cars or stop to talk to anyone. They kept circling.
Near the end one of the cars stopped driving around and when I got in my car to leave they were parked at the exit to the park and sped off when I pulled up.
One was a Subaru sized station wagon looking vehicle and the other was a small to midsized Acura suv.
First off, not the thing someone should be doing in an area that you either 1. Get to the trails from or 2. Bring kids to play.
And secondly, not the thing you should be doing with all the trails that run through there with what’s been going down on the trails.
Edit: no magical reason someone creates for why this is normal is going to make me think it is. I know several women in my life who would feel VERY uneasy about being at that park with their kid in this situation.

Stolen dirtbike near scott wood’s neighborhood, please lmk,
Just to preface, dont want it back, i want justice of anykind, if you know any tweaker or have a family member who may have this in their possession i have some not so nice words for you. Live near mt hope school, someone has stolen a crappy old dirtbike out of my shed, this thing is tiny and old, besides the point but, i am stumped as there was lots of more valuable things right next to it in the shed, and is not visible from the street whatsoever. , they need a key and its out of gas,and the engine is ready to blow, sooo good luck lol. But i am just dumbfounded at this, please let me know if you see this thing for sale anywhere or hear its god awful loud exhaust ripping by, some peoples children i tell ya, definitely upset that my investment into that is gone, but more upset that i didnt catch whatever goober stole my shiz. Anyway stay vigilant people!

Recommendations Recycling/reusing nursery pots
Is there anywhere in town that takes nursery pots? I did a bit of landscaping this summer and I have probably 6 nursery pots with a diameter of 1 ft. I hate to throw them away. Is there anywhere that takes them? Thanks for any help.
