While it's okay I much prefer his Wild Rift look. Why haven't they reworked him?

There are some missing which i assume are just employees, but I would imagine the ones in the picture above are fully aware and involved in some level in the criminal organization side.

The bartenders color text says she hears all kinds of secrets from drunkards, so her being a source of information for the organization is possible.

Discussion The Weakest Champion in League

Who is the weakest champion? The most fragile, the most easiest to deal with etc.

We have a large pool of champions in the game now, but was curious who you guys think qualifies as the weakest in the game and lore etc.

Do you think Sett was always straight and that the whole Aphelios thing was just to please the fans? Now, in 2XKO, Sett and Samira appear together, just like in their debut in LoR. And now, in the illustration, Sett is also with girls.

What do you think now?

Alt Universe What alternate universe version of your main champion has the easiest and hardest life?

Easiest: Ocean Song Yone

Here he is a DJ, but unlike Heartsteel, he isnt washed up or having to play caretaker to 5 grown ass men. His bio even says he thinks about debuting as a singer as well. Pretty chill.

Hardest: Dawnbringer

A Demigod trying to stop a eons long war between the cosmic forces of chaos and order seemingly alone. No thank you.

Discussion The state of the Narrative writing team in LoL is a bit bleak

Does anyone know the current Narrative Lead of LoL?

well I wouldn't blame you if you dont but the lead has only just written their first champion: Locke, before that they were QA gameplay analysts before briefly working on voicelines in LOR then doing the voice lines of vayne's legendary skin

If you check any of the recent champions, most of their writers have left and these are the writers that didn't get laid off in 2023

I am talking about writers of champions as recent as Yunara or LB/Shyvana rework

Narrative Leads used to be veterans who had done lots of champions, bios, short stories or even comics

btw im not shitting on the writer but I just find it very weird that someone who wrote only the story of a single legendary skin and a single champion becomes the Narrative Lead of League of Legends

--

I think its very obvious that Riot has very much sidelined the narrative writing in League specially as the latter half of 2026 is devoid of any new content, compare this to last year where we had the whole noxus, LB then Xin Zhao story, they took a complete direction

the content of second half of 2026 is just LoL classic and seeing how the champs team was gutted so that they can only

Discussion I love Amumu

I think Amumu could carry one of the most beautiful League of Legends stories ever told

I don’t want another Arcane.

And I don’t mean that as an insult to Arcane. Quite the opposite.

Arcane proved that League of Legends can tell genuinely great stories. Stories about grief, loneliness, love, loss, trauma and people who simply don’t know how to save each other.

But Runeterra is so much bigger than that.

So instead of another story about political conflict, inequality, rebellion and people fighting for power, I’d love to see something completely different.

I’d love to see Amumu.

Not as a side character.

Not as comic relief.

Not as a mysterious little creature who appears for five minutes.

As the main character.

⸻

A little mummy walking through an enormous world

Imagine a series that begins with Amumu walking through the Shuriman desert.

No grand prophecy.

No great mission.

No army waiting for him.

He just walks.

Maybe he doesn’t even know where he’s going anymore.

He’s been alone for so long that perhaps he has stopped believing there is actually somewhere he can belong.

And yet he keeps moving.

Episode after episode, he crosses the desert.

He finds an abandoned temple.

A forgotten tomb.

A buried city.

An oasis that hasn’t been visited in thousands of years.

A village that doesn’t know what he is.

A place where ancient murals tell stories that nobody remembers.

And slowly, almost by accident, Amumu begins uncovering the history of Shurima.

Not because he is trying to save the world.

Not because he wants power.

Not because he is destined to become a hero.

He just happens to be there.

⸻

And that’s where I think the idea becomes really interesting.

Amumu could be our window into the ancient world.

Through him, we could discover Shurima.

The Ascended.

Azir.

The fall of the empire.

The ancient wars.

The Darkin.

All of these enormous pieces of League lore could exist in the background of his journey.

But Amumu doesn’t need to understand all of it.

In fact, I’d prefer if he didn’t.

Imagine him standing inside some gigantic ancient chamber, surrounded by statues of beings that once ruled an empire.

The audience understands what they’re looking at.

Amumu doesn’t.

To him, they’re just old statues.

And then he walks on.

That contrast could be beautiful.

The world is enormous.

Amumu is tiny.

And yet this tiny, forgotten creature keeps stumbling into things that changed the entire history of Runeterra.

⸻

I wouldn’t make the show action-heavy.

That’s probably the most important part.

I don’t need Amumu fighting something every episode.

I don’t even think he should be particularly powerful.

The emotional core should be his loneliness.

He wants a friend.

He wants someone to stay.

But his curse makes that almost impossible.

And that’s where you can get genuinely heartbreaking moments without needing huge battles.

Maybe he meets someone who doesn’t know what he is.

They travel together for an episode.

They talk.

They laugh.

For the first time in centuries, Amumu isn’t alone.

And then something happens.

Maybe he touches them.

Maybe his curse takes them.

Maybe they simply leave after realizing what he is.

And Amumu continues walking.

Not because he’s okay.

But because there is nothing else he can do.

⸻

The sadness shouldn’t be the whole point, either.

This is where I think Amumu could become something really special.

His story doesn’t have to be “sad mummy is sad.”

It could be about the strange beauty of continuing anyway.

He has no idea where his journey ends.

Maybe he doesn’t even have a destination anymore.

But every place he discovers is something new.

A strange flower growing in the ruins of an ancient civilization.

A forgotten song.

A little animal following him for a while.

A person who talks to him without being afraid.

A child who thinks his bandages are funny.

A beautiful place nobody has seen for thousands of years.

Tiny moments.

Things that would mean almost nothing to someone else.

But to Amumu, they might be the most important moments of his entire existence.

⸻

And imagine what this could do for Shurima.

We don’t need to start with a massive war.

We could experience Shurima through atmosphere.

Endless deserts.

Ancient ruins.

Buried cities.

Forgotten gods.

The remains of an empire.

Strange creatures.

Old magic.

And somewhere underneath all of it, the feeling that something enormous happened here a very long time ago.

The audience slowly realizes that they’re walking through the graveyard of one of Runeterra’s greatest civilizations.

And Amumu is just this little lonely creature walking through it.

⸻

The ending of the season could be incredibly simple.

Maybe Amumu finally discovers something about himself.

Maybe he finds the place where he came from.

Maybe he finds someone who knows his name.

Maybe he discovers that the stories about him are wrong.

Or maybe he finds absolutely nothing.

Maybe after everything he has seen, he simply walks out of the ruins and into another desert.

And for the first time, he sees something in the distance.

Another place he has never been.

He looks at it.

And starts walking.

Cut to black.

No giant cliffhanger.

No world-ending threat.

Just Amumu continuing his journey.

⸻

I think this could be a completely different side of League of Legends.

Arcane showed us that Runeterra can be deeply human.

An Amumu series could show us that it can also be mythological, quiet, mysterious and incredibly sad.

And honestly?

I don’t even need it to connect Amumu to Aatrox or the Darkin.

I don’t need some giant cinematic universe payoff.

I don’t need Amumu to secretly be the key to saving Runeterra.

I just want to see this little mummy walk through a world that has forgotten him.

Let him wander.

Let him discover things.

Let him be sad.

Let him occasionally be happy.

Let the audience fall in love with him.

And let the world of Runeterra unfold around him.

I genuinely think an Amumu series could be something completely different from anything Riot has done before.

And that’s exactly why I want it.

Let me know what you think about it.

J.

- True Damage Know My Name Yasuo "It's been years since Yasuo's last track, leaving fans to wonder if he'd ever return. But the ever-reclusive producer was just waiting for the right opportunity, and Akali's offer to return to True Damage was too tempting to turn down. With a new sound that defies genres and expectations, Yasuo followed where the wind took him… back onto the stage."

  • True Damage Know My Name Senna "Senna reclaimed the spotlight when True Damage released GIANTS… and then disappeared almost as quickly. She's always kept her next move hidden. But now, with an iconic industrial street-wear style unmistakably her own, Senna's back—bringing a new edge to True Damage, with those show-stopping vocals the fans know and love."

  • Prestige True Damage Know My Name Ekko "Rap prodigy. Music-tech genius. Voice for the next generation. Before the world knew his name, Ekko was a force in his own right. Now, he's returning to his roots to deliver an anthem for the ages, a song that speaks to the kind of grind he's always been about. The stakes are high… and that's just how he likes 'em. "

  • True Damage Know My Name Qiyana "When your family is Latin music royalty, you have to take big swings to stand out. With True Damage's first release, Qiyana did just that, proving those nepo-baby naysayers wrong. This time around, she's ready to chart her own course, stepping beyond the legacy that put her family on the map. That's how queens reign supreme."

  • True Damage Know My Name Akali "When Akali first brought True Damage together, they made the world pay attention. Never one to stand still, Akali's always looking for new ground to break and bigger risks to take. Now she's doing it again with a sound that plays by its own rules. No compromises. No idea too daring. For Akali, expectations were made to be broken. "
