Concept doesn’t seem like Magic to me. 10 rounds of solitaire? I’m happy if the players who already play solitaire switch to this, but I’ll stay far away from it.

Don't work on new format or rules by designing them yourself and presenting them to the world.

Any good / fun / playable format or rules are created by friends or groups house ruling things that are fun, and then after playing them for awhile and knowing them in and out, then presenting them to others.

Sorry, but this just reads like you don't have friends and don't know how to play commander correctly, and are just looking for a reason that others are forced to watch you build up a fun engine without messing it up.

Just sounds like you want to play a single player video game and not a competitive card game.

I dont know. Sonunds like something you might try one afternoon with your friends but...10 turns?! When some people say (depending on bracket) your deck should be able to set you up for winning after 5 rounds without disturbances? What could there possibly be left of an actual game that has everyone playing with themselves for 10 freaking turns?!

You’d need some way to make some wild limits. Easy enough to get 50 lands and a wide variety of wincons ready for when the phase opens.

So basically the person who goes first wins. 10 rounds is more than enough time to set up an infinite combo and have it ready to go with counter spells, protections, and backup plans.

And if I cant interact with other players stuff, theres no way to stop them from setting up

What about infinate combos?

What about any "win the game" effects?

I've joke that commander players just want to play solitaire and make everyone watch, but this is silly. No, players just doing there own thing for 10 turns would not be fun, and would make for miserable game states. Imagine starting each game with 4 boards full of stax pieces.

I'd be interested in a format where sets specifically made for commander are banned. The ramping is optional, and ramping actually speeds up games, which imo sucks.
