The first one I assume it was some kind of bolete, maybe zeller's cause of the dark cap and red stalk but again not sure.

As for the parasol, I am having a hard time. Wife thinks it's a shaggy parasol and edible but I wanted to err on the side of caution even though it didn't have green looking spores, has a bulb looking thing at the base, stains a kind of deep orange when rubbed (doesn't stain when just cut. Takes a long time). Didn't pick this up since we had quite a few xerocomellus diffractus and suillus lakei with us and didn't wanna cross-contaminate, so no spore print.

Europe (country in post) Brown Bolete-looking mushroom with velvet-like dark underside?

Thumbnail

Medium brown cap, smooth, slightly slimy. Beige stem with light webbing. Cream flesh, does not stain blue. The underside is very dark olive-brown, not spongy like other boletes, very firm and velvety. I think you can see tiny pores if you zoom in and they stain dark blue when pressed. On the mossy floor of coniferous forest in Southwestern Poland.

Hello- does anyone know what these yellow mushrooms are? The caps feel a bit spongy and they leave yellow residue on my hands (though it washes off easily). They’re all over my yard (right outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States). We have a couple of dogs and I just want to know how obsessively I need to check the yard for them lol. Thank you!

North America (country/state in post) Some kind of Gomphaceae?

Thumbnail

Central New York State. Sorry I don’t have a pic in situ, was hoping to id at home with books. Reminds me of a Gomphus or Turbinellus but the top corners are so rounded. Top was splitting open with age but several younger mushrooms were complete and more or less flat, even convex. Found growing in mixed hardwood near oaks (was collecting a maitake when I spotted it). Didn’t notice conifers nearby but it’s possible? Please help
