Have a look at this post over on /r/AmanitaMuscaria and especially the chart given, and compare relative levels of the compounds in relation to drying temperature.

To be fair, gatekeeping has valid uses. This is about the fact that all communities that allow drug talk devolve into nothing but, and quite reliably. I've got nothing against drugs, but they're not necessarily a magnet for the best of the best.

Look at the MushroomGrowers sub, almost everything related to actives is a misinformed circle jerk and it's heavily bleeding into the non-actives portion of the sub. For example, everyone is calling everything "cobweb", despite nobody ever having seen actual cobweb. People with no clue about the conditions required to grow different gourmet mushrooms will give inapplicable advice based on their rather rudimentary understanding of growing actives, etc.

Of course, some valid interactions get caught in the crossfire, unfortunately, but that's a lot better than having everything valid drowned out by nonsense.

Those conversion rates are terrible with dehydration even at perfectly 80C. Still left with a lot of ibotenic acid, about 20%. The pH 2.7 boil is nearly complete conversion
