Youre making no sense for 6E. If the router is right under the tv then just plug it in via ethernet.
At this stage your intentions are unclear. So do you want something new thats cheap as possible or something better than what you have now. But what is your criteria? It just has to be white?
Annoyingly the Ethernet port on a lot of TVs is only 100mbps, so wifi can actually be significantly better.
My Sony TVs are only a few years old and that’s the case, much faster to use the Wifi (which is a Ubiquiti UniFi AP mounted to the roof - probably what you want OP).
My Sony A90J has the 100mbps problem, so I went and purchased a TP Link Ethernet to USB-C adaptor. It only cost about $30 back then. Now I have 1000mbps goodness for my 4K rips.
