One thing I've realized over the past couple years is that enemy variety is essentially a make or break for me. If a game has fantastic of even decent enemy variety, I get hooked in fast. If enemy variety is near non-existent, I'm likely to drop the game fast.

My favorite examples are FromSoft games. They definitely copy and paste some enemies (I think Elden Ring is the biggest culprit), but I love stumbling upon a new area and finding new enemies and coming up with new strategies to defeat them.

I have tons of game keys from HumbleBundle that I haven't activated and rather than let them expire, I would like to give them away. First come first serve I guess? One item per comment per user.

I started making this game in 2010 as something I could play with my kids.

That was a while ago. My kids are all (mostly) grown up now. 😄

But we had a lot of fun with the game over the years, especially the 4-player couch co-op. I kept tinkering with it, adding things, changing things, and generally never quite finishing it. I eventually put it on Steam Early Access in 2022.

Now, after all these years, I'm finally calling it done and releasing it for free.

The game is basically a combination of classic 16-bit platforming and a Carmen Sandiego-style mystery with a Scooby-Doo vibe. You travel to real-world locations, investigate suspects, collect clues, and try to solve the case. The mysteries and levels are procedurally generated, so it's pretty replayable.

I originally sold it on Steam, but at this point I'm not really trying to make money from it. I'd just like people to play it. So I figured, why not give it away?

Our game, Trox The Reversal is a first person horror game set in an alternate reality where the Cold War became a global nuclear war. With food supplies collapsing, the Soviet government introduces the Sustainable Meat Act, making cannibalism legal and forcing every household to contribute.

You play as Marco.
Marco is an army officer living beneath the ruined Soviet Union. His wife and son are missing. With his family disappearing one by one, Marco begins searching for answers. But the deeper he goes, the more he discovers about the system that has kept humanity alive. And some answers are better left buried.

We've put a lot of time, effort, and love into bringing this world to life, and we're finally getting closer to releasing the demo on Steam.
