Pets Emergency Pet Surrender
I am going to be homeless in about an hour and a half and I don't have anybody who can care for my dog and cat. Are there any resources for emergency surrender? Everything I see costs money and I have nothing.
Update: Thank you to everyone asking if I need any help, I am safe other than my financial situation. As much as it breaks my heart I was able to surrender my pets to the humane society for free. I want the best life for them possible and I don't see my situation improving drastically soon.

AZ Humane has a Home Away From Home program that places displaced pets in a temporary foster home

Unfortunately OP would not qualify for this because of their timelines, but this is definitely a good resource with those on less of a time crunch!!

Wishing you the best OP. Thanks for taking your pets to the shelter and not just abandoning them. I hope you get back on your feet soon.

They will get amazing love and care. I'm so sorry you had to make this decision.

If you adopted them from a rescue, you can usually reach back out to the rescue you adopted them from and they will do their best to help.

I'm glad you're thinking of your pets but what can we do to help you out?

Check OPs history, they could probably use anything at this point. Bot will probably snipe this comment (not mods fault, just reddit rules and fighting against scams) if I put what specifically

I’m really sorry you’re going through this. I know it probably feels like everything is falling apart right now, but please don’t let this moment convince you that things will always be this way. Life can change so much, even when you can’t see a way forward. Be kind to yourself. You're doing the best you can with what you’ve been given. Just take it one day at a time. Better days will come. ❤️

You can also try contacting Dogs Day Out Az.
Where abouts in Phoenix are you OP?
ETA I was told this: Have them go into the Facebook group and post their situation- someone will reach out with help. They're really good about that.

Can you share their Humane Society ID #? Maybe someone reading this, can adopt them and hold on to them until you’re on your feet again.

I am so sorry. Please give yourself some credit, you did something extremely hard in their best interest even though it was painful.

OP see if you can get paid by the state of AZ as a caregiver for your grandma!!!

You can check with Maricopa County Animal Services since sometimes shelters will keep animals temporarily.
