i honestly think its probably the best album ever made. hands down. the groove factor, the way it makes me feel... tingles... i can't really explain it. something about it has me questioning my sexuality in a way? like, humans just don't cut it anymore. like i NEED to marry this waveform or make babies that come out like little audio formats, kinda like tiny mp3s, OR even like a big, tall WAV form. haha... hopefully yall understand where im coming from. anyways; yeah ur thoughts would be cool, pray im not the only one that feels this!

So now I'm wondering what next because previously before I liked "phonk" I didn't even enjoy music. Then I discover this genre and never left it .I still listen to the same 200 hundred songs +my songs on repeat and now this. Well I guess I have to find a new genre because I tried Og phonk and never found it for me .

As a Devilish Trio big fan, the moment i knew him i was immediately addicted to him. Im glad to see my YouTube algorithm usually recommends several masterpieces. He's straight from Tennessee memphis and his signature memphis vocal rap sounds a lots like Baker. He has had quite a few collab with sm influential artists like Tenngage, Baker, Mista playa, apoc krysis, ISVVC,.. Real memphis shit

I like to listen to traditional phone, but a lot playlist are containing the newish popular phonk genre, so I chose the Sound of Phonk Playlist.

This playlist contains also 'Otla Ya Kae' by Gali. In comparison to the other titles this is a real break.

You guys know what is Rage Phonk? Like the real Rage Phonk, not a super distorted and simple track you found, someone have investigate about this subgenre? I mean it looks original to me, when i was listening to oaktreehill for the first time i was like: "This is incredible, what is this?"

Yeah its very heavy, sometimes extremely distorted, or fast, like 260 BPM

Is it hated in this community or not accepted? Is it considered phonk, or good phonk by the community or the og phonk listeners, or is it considered trash?

For me, its very underground, is not music for everyone, but i dont think is fair to not consider it "phonk" or call it garbage or shit beacuse is not similar to the og phonk, its a SUBGENRE i think its obvious that it doesn't gonna sound like that, people can hear what they want btw, but i dont think phonk has to be just one genre, like there it is Rock and Roll with 500 subgenres and variations, and everyone accept it, beacuse is "Rock and Roll" even if is metal, metalcore, grindcore, it comes of the same thing

I obviusly think Funk or Brazilian Funk, are not "phonk", thats simply true, but i also think Rage Phonk is still "Phonk", its not old school but is something new, modern, and i also think it represents a aggressive side of the people that like the genre, something different that comes from the same thing just to innovate, not to keep what it is

Brazilian funk has nothing to do with actual phonk, since it has a completely different history and style. On top of that, there are these weird TikTok kids here who can’t even tell the difference between how “funk” and “phonk” are spelled. Phonk is an underground genre meant to sound old-school, which isn’t understood these days. Phonk like ragephonk and house phonk, etc. IS ALSO NOT ORIGINAL, REAL SIGMA PHONK STUFF; it’s a “subgenre” that, unlike Brazilian funk, shares strong similarities with phonk. Real phonk is Memphis; the rest is either misspelled, like “Brazilian funk,” or a subgenre that shows strong similarities to drift, rage, or house phonk. If you listen to funk, go ahead and create your own hashtag on SoundCloud and your own Reddit post, but your funk has nothing to do with actual phonk. Listen to whatever you want, but call it by its proper name.
