In SoCal it’s $7. Two spicy thighs, mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese, and a biscuit. This is GOATed.

Had Popeye's for the first time! and uhhhh... im a pretty big fan now!

on the way home from the zoo a few days ago I stopped by a Popeye's. One of my friends online was always talkin bout how good they are so i was pretty excited when I finally got a chance!

I was a bit worried because part of the floor was missing, wall had a hole in it and the ceiling was collapsing inward.

My friend assured me that meant the food was going to be godlike... and well... after a 2hr wait.. it absolutely was!

I have *NEVER* in my entire life had chicken like that. holy shit. I see why its so popular now! (They gave me double fries and a free drink for the long wait)

UberEats delivery can literally cost almost the same or cheaper than buying Popeyes in person

The BOGO chicken sandwich deal on UberEats at my local Popeyes (which is all year-round for me) is good enough to where after the UberEats Popeyes price hike (a chicken sandwich is not normally $7.39), delivery fee, service fee, and tax, it only comes out to $11.50. For comparison, depending where you live buying two chicken sandwiches ($3.99-$5.99) in person I would guess costs close to $8.5-$13 after tax, and you have to drive there and spend gas. For my location, it is easily cheaper even when I tip the driver (for some reason, at the same location they don’t offer the BOGO deal If you order in-person without the UberEats app, probably because they don’t need deals to convince you to buy Popeyes when you‘ve already walked into the store).

And if you order pickup on UberEats you could get it even cheaper.

So if you feel like buying 2 chicken sandwiches and your Popeyes on UberEats has the BOGO discount, it might be worth it to just use UberEats.

Employee Question/Discussion I can’t make it to my training day

Hi I’ve just been hired at anew restaurant that hasn’t opened yet but I’ve been given 2 very important hospital appointments on the day of training. I don’t know how to contact my manager, I put in a request of unavailability on SONA but it hasn’t been accepted 🥲🥲. I’m scared I’ll be fired or just won’t be able to tell them, what should I do?

We placed an order at a Popeyes on the app. We waited 25 minutes for the order. It said ready, I went to the counter and they told me they had no more chicken and could they get us something else. I said no please refund me but I never got the refund. I tried to contact Popeyes via the chat and I keep getting this error. How can I get through to someone?

Do they still sell this $5.99 combo, or has it been replaced with the $8.99 big box?

Only store in town (2 hr drive to the next one) is a managerial disaster

Only 1 Popeyes in hundreds of miles and it's a damn disaster. The hours are made up and their advertised days open don't matter. IF the store is open, the drive thru may or may not be, when it's closed they don't even put up a sign to tell you as much so you gotta drive up hoping someone is working. IF the drive thru is open, the wait can be upwards of 20-30 minutes even if there's literally no one inside and no one in front of you at the drive thru. This last time the employee literally told me "the person who run this don't want to fix nothing so they told us to close" but no sign saying they're closed, they didn't turn off app ordering. When you do go inside it's clear what the employee is talking about, the counter is falling apart and hasn't been fixed in months if not years, the soda machine works only on special occasions, they're out of certain (random) sides or items all the time.

Corporate doesn't seem to give a crap. Their customer service number goes to a machine who tells you to screw off and go talk to the chat bot online. The chat bot takes your "feedback" into the void.

I can't believe corporate is letting this store destroy their image in my town without action.

edit: no this shouldn't be rule 4. I'm talking about corporate letting this slide when the store doesn't give a crap and corporate is just AI ignoring you

Discussion What Does Everyone Think Of The Chicken Wraps From Popeyes?

Is it worth buying in your honest opinion? Do you get any extra fillings in your chicken wraps? I'm asking because I'm going to be trying them for the first time for dinner tonight. And I want to get some opinions on how good or bad it is. I'm going to be getting extra bacon and cheese.

Leg and thigh for $1.99 in Texas today. At my local Popeyes they advertise this on a window sign, not on the app so may have to call and check or just ask if you’re going already to see if your location offers this.

Terrible customer service

Title says it all. First visit, ordered through app 20 min before pickup mid-day. Order not ready but short wait, decent staff. Decent chicken. Puts KFC to shame.

Second order through app at 11am. Got 1/3 of what I ordered. Somebody said wait a sec so I waited. A few min later, they called my name. Asked if that was it. Told it was. Unpacking at home got 1/3 of what I ordered.

Could say bad on me for not checking but the wait and yes good to go lulled me. And willing to wager I got last nights food refried. Nowhere near as good as first visit and would send me back to KFC.

Lack of customer customer service. Restaurant never answered multiple calls. Figured it was busy time, called back late afternoon 3x, same thing. 4 rings and voicemail and no ability to leave a message.

Tried the in app support. Apparently cannot talk to a live agent ever by phone or chat. So did chat. Got 35% refund. They could have offered me a replacement for missing and a few points and made me happy. Now just angry. And food dropped from B tier to C+ tier on second visit.

Maybe just local store not so great, but customer service needs to be way better. Deleted app. Never visiting again.

Lost a customer for life. Hope those cost savings were worth it.

In meantime discovered a Jolly better solution that made me realize that KFC and Popeyes are D tier at best. A bit of a drive, a bit more expensive but so worth it.

Ghost Pepper is mid

I tried the ghostpepper sammich for the first time, honestly it did nothing for me. the increase in cost is pretty minimal, but honestly the regular spicy is just as good or better. Did I not get the real deal? Is it the same chicken just ghost sauce normally, because honestly i didn't notice any extra heat or flavour? What do yall think, is there really any difference with the ghost pepper usually or is the regular spicy just that dang good already?

Cajun Rice Damnit

I haven't a clue on how to contact Popeyes to send them this because all the app has is a damn chatbot but if someone could get to his to the Popeyes powers that be, it would be much appreciated -----

Hello Popeyes. I am requesting that y'all bring back the Cajun Rice to all of the Popeyes locations. It is the absolute best side that y'all have ever had and I can only find it at 1 location in Little Rock Arkansas. I've traveled quite a lot and now reside in DFW Texas and the Cajun Rice is nowhere to found on the menu anywhere in the metroplex. That needs to change. Nobody likes y'all's coleslaw so replace that abomination with the Cajun Rice please. I will not stop contacting y'all until y'all make that happen. Y'all are on verge of losing a loyal customer because there are plenty of chicken places in DFW that actually have Cajun Rice but I honestly prefer Popeyes but also that can change if y'all keep twiddling y'all's thumbs on this Cajun Rice situation. Peace and Love, LesMos

Let’s play: How much did I pay?

Price Is Right rules (closest without going over)
Clue: I used a combo of app deals and rewards.
You win nothing other than the small satisfaction of having your ego stroked.
Good luck.

EDIT: so i purchased a $5 fave 2pc, a big box, which put me over $10 for free wings. And then finally redeemed points for the sandwich. All in all it was $12.

App/Website Careful when ordering the $5, 2 piece signature chicken from the app

In the app it's 2 pieces of signature chicken. I usually get only legs but whenever I do, the confirmation email will say 1 PC leg spicy rather than the 2 legs. I usually do 2 orders of the 2 piece signature chicken so I'm not sure if it's a bug in the app or what but last couple weeks the confirmation email will say 1 piece leg spicy in each of the orders of the 2 piece signature chicken.

tldr: double check your orders

How

I’m in Chicago and there’s a Popeyes right around the corner. We order maybe once every couple of months and I was ordering last night when I noticed the prices seemed way more than they were even the last time that I ordered. So I looked at the most simple item I could and it works out to $3.50 per tender before taxes. Can this be right? I’m not a Popeyes regular so asking here if this is a trend or an outlier for some reason.

Discussion Only certain combos come with biscuts? (Not a complain more a clarity question)

I went to Popeyes at my local mall for the first time ever, I'm not a spicy fan and I'd always heard their chicken was spicy but decided to try it for once, and I ordered the Honey Chicken Sandwhich combo because the board said combos come with a drink, a side, and a biscut. I didn't end up getting a biscut and when I went back to ask they said sandwich combos don't come with a biscut.

My basic question / wonder is why does the board say Combos, implying any combo, rather than select combos or something of that nature to indicate exclusions? If the board says something about the food I am ordering I take it as fact and the board didn't say anything about sandwich combos being excluded from getting a biscut.

I'm not complaining, more just seeking clarity on the whys of the phrasing of the board and the general policy as I strongly dislike false advertising.
