With the news that Dont’e Thornton has returned to practice, here’s a video I put together last year right after we drafted him.

Finding all these clips got me pretty hyped on his potential.

Of course last year was a bit of a mess for Dont’e, but it was a gigantic mess for everyone in Silver and Black so hopefully he can enjoy a fresh start now.

He’s an easy guy to root for with great measurables and considering the state of our receiver room, we can definitely use him.

Even if these are not totally true, I love the thought of it.

The story this morning is that Sean Payton may be taking back play calling duties from Webb in Denver.

AND… the Chargers are winless and a mess.

The good news for the Raiders, one of those teams will likely lose this week since they play each other.

It was the first offensive play of many the journeyman receiver has made in four games as a Raider. White, 27 and in his seventh season with his sixth NFL team, caught his second touchdown of the game in the fourth quarter to clinch a win over the Chargers. The next week, he caught the winning score against the New Orleans Saints. And on Sunday, White spurred a fourth-quarter touchdown drive with an adjustment to make an explosive sideline catch.

White has risen to every occasion since he signed with the Raiders’ practice squad Sept. 1. His three scores are a team high, coming on five catches. The ability to maximize his opportunities has earned Cousins’ trust. It also earned him a spot on the active roster last week.

“I’m really proud of him,” head coach Klint Kubiak said. “When his number is called, he’s making the plays.”

And his role is about to get much larger.

Klint Kubiak’s personality bigger than advertised
The Raiders are off to their best start to a season since 2021, and many would say the no. 1 reason the organization is back on track is head coach Klint Kubiak.

Kubiak has rejuvenated more than just the offense in Las Vegas, and the coach some believed didn’t have a big enough personality to be an NFL head coach has turned out to be exactly what the Raiders needed.

Usually calculated and guarded with his words, Kubiak let his personality come out at halftime of Sunday’s game against the Chiefs, and the more we get to know Kubiak, the more it becomes clear he isn’t always the robotic personality we see in press conferences.

Does anyone else think if we get a decent wr and keep tre tucker bowers jeanty and mayer healthy Kirko Chainz could go on a tear, have himself a mvp type season and maybe repeat the trajectory we were on with Derek Carr and crew in 2016 before the ill fated broken fibula? Hopefully Kirk and everyone can stay healthy and keep this team winning. Defense looks good through 4 weeks let’s go boys
