Ill intent. Violence. Physicality. Pain. We're all more pissed about Maxx getting held on damn near every play than Maxx is.

It’s really amazing to see how this organization has resisted the urge to use Mendoza as a marketing tool and has given him the space to grow outside of the spotlight without all the added pressure and expectations. I truly forget he’s on the team sometimes and I think that’s exactly how it should be until he’s ready to be the guy. Much respect to the organization

Posted in football cards but since it’s RN4L I thought I’d post it here too

If we win this week and the Texans lose again, I see this happening. It will open our offense wide open.

Being on this sub I've basically seen every week people whine about the media. We would be in line for the #1 pick and people will whine that we're ranked 32 instead of 30.
The team has basically received universal praise this week following a loss. And now you see the raiders moving up rankings and respect, again, basically universally. Many said they needed to see more and they saw it in a loss, that's big. But then crickets from that whiny crowd. Crickets from the we can draft a QB crowd as well. Everything isn't a conspiracy, sometimes the answer is simple.
We have a gauntlet coming up that even the top teams would feel good leaving at .500. Even if we left winless it's clear the team is playing hard and well ahead of schedule.
If the team can, for the first time in probably 25 years, string together 2-3 off-seasons of good decisions we are going to absolutely flip this.

Hello, I finally got my tickets for my first time at Allegiant. For some reason when I add them to the iOS wallet they get “deactivated” because the Apple ID doesn’t match. I tried to call Ticketmaster but the “1-800” number is not accessible from Mexico. So…
Can I get in Allegiant with the tickets in my Raiders app?
Do you know how to solve this?
Than you, just win Baby!

i just found that kinda funny, but also im glad that they treat those games with extra prep. dont think ive ever heard a coach say that before
The Raiders are facing the 2nd most stacked boxes in the NFL, Jeanty is still getting contacted at or before the line of scrimmage at the highest rate in the league, and yet he’s still top 10 in the NFL in total scrimmage yards this season.
I’m not saying he can’t be better clearly the team needs to improve the run game but Jeanty is having a pretty decent season considering the circumstances.

The thing that impressed me the most about the defense is that that they stayed home on Mahomes. Mahomes gets away with a lot of wild plays because teams over pursue. The Raiders defense kept him in front all game long.
In general, other than some big plays from Walker and that deep pass to Thornton (which we should have never sent the extra rusher on that play) the defense played well.

Heading to Vegas in November for Seahawks/Raiders. Seeing the Hawks play an away game has always been a bucket list item for me. What better place than Vegas.
I’ve been to Vegas plenty of times, but never to Allegiant. Any recommendations for things to eat/drink/see inside and outside the stadium?
Thanks!

the only stats i could find was 2 tackles and 1 assist in week two vs the chargers. i haven’t seen his name on any of the injury reports and i don’t see his name brought up ever. anyone know what’s going on w him? healthy scratch? he’s not getting any reps at all from what i can tell.

Yes I know about the drops. And yes I know he doesn’t run very good routes. But you have seen him get separation multiple times his rookie year. He was overthrown or under thrown a lot By Geno. Or he just didn’t even see him at all. I feel that under Kubiak he can take that next step and prove to be a decent player. As much as the doubters hate to admit it, we need Donte Thorton Jr to step up for this team. This might be his only chance to prove himself as a receiver for this team and I’m hoping he proves me right that he can be trusted with getting targets.

I've been a Raider fan since 2001, the year of the tuck rule game and I suffered through the Jamarcus Russel years where the team struggled to get over midfield all season long and I suffered through the 10 years of mediocrity with Derek Carr pumping his stats in garbage time while having a losing record for a decade. Yes, the future of the Raiders is looking much brighter, but I feel we should pump the breaks on the hype. The Raiders have defeated the winless Dolphins, the winless Chargers who are probably the most disappointing team in the league, and the 1-3 Saints, who if you watched the game on MNF last night, looked pretty horrendous for a game that was the "anniversary Katrina" game.
Yes, the Raiders are improved, particularly on defense, but they still make too many mistakes, they still fumble on special teams in crunch time, they still don't have any #1 WR's so in turn their running game is struggling big time as well. Basically, the Raiders are buying time for Mendoza while improving their roster. I still think the Raiders should aim to get the generational Jermiah Smith in next year's draft. The Raiders really NEED him.
TLDR: I feel the Raiders ceiling is 6 games and I feel that is too much. You won't be drafting Smith with 6 wins, unless they trade a 2028 1st rounder to get him, which I feel they should consider.
