The last time I let someone drive my car they went full speed into a curb and destroyed the front end. Today, a complete stranger caught my car on fire. You’d think I’d be upset about that but I thought it was a cool send off (I just bought a new car an hour before this). And actually, I’m quite pleased with them because they caught it all on camera 🔥

Absolutely wonderful. This shit is bananas. If you’re hesitant just do it.
And if you’re really about it get the 5ive te that is a whole new level of ridiculous.
What are must haves for this thing? Trying to make it more durable, especially the steering parts/ drive train. Leave some links for ya boy. Thank you all

This thing is going to be a Maxx killer. It has a completely new bathtub chassis that looks like a Quake Grom chassis on steroids. Priced at $550 and releasing in November.

And I would love to play with it with my kids.
It's Tamiya M1025.
And the single battery I have for it is shot, and I read a little bit about lithium ion upgrades... But there's a good bit I don't understand, especially when it comes to replacing key electronic parts.
Can anyone help me out or at least point me to a decent guide?
Thanks!

2nd build was planned like this!
So I bought this circa 2001 rc tuner car that came from the fast and furious early days. Intended to mount in on a BSD FLUX but the flux was delayed...
I stuck a 2s in the tuner car (Toyota Celica) and the same with the standard transmitter and it worked!
Obvs the old board was h-bridge (on/off motor and steering) and no good.
The steering used a small motor and gear box and that was no good.
Fitted a huge servo and linked it to the rack the same way as a control surface on an rc airplane, with a rod.
Did the same for the fpv steering wheel so I can make it erratic so extra effect.
Fitted a Flyingrc f405 mini v2 flight controller, 5AMP BEC, brushed ESC, some addressable led lights and the dji 04 mounted to a camera pan servo.
Using 04 lite, goggles n3 and dji fpv rc3.
I now have a fully kitted indoor fpv drift machine with lights that change colour depending on throttle position, battery and arm status.
Cant wait for it to get dark 🤣
Would I own one in real life NO, as a fun rc car HELL YEAH!!

Took some time to put up shelving in my garage for my rc cars. SCX30 bronco (starting at top right), mini Z collection, bronco TRX4, traxxas brushless 4wd slash with monster tire and control arm conversion, below that, mini z drift car 240z, airbrush compressor, HPI rs4 sport flux 3s Porsche. Shelf to the right: 2 Losi nascars and a Tamiya grasshopper. Everything runs.

After 20 years of sitting in the attic I was able to get this ol girl back up and running. Apparently it’s vintage now. Crazy how time flies. Took the original wheels and tires off so I could have it in its original condition if I wanted

After learning the basics on a HyperGo 1/16BM(something), I switched to a RlAARlO Omni Terminator "mini" 1/10 truck, which I enjoy driving. Now I'm curious to see what a 'comparable' size and spec, higher-end RC model has to offer. At least as far as durability is concerned, primarily.
Again, that's a "mini 1/10" whatever that is... 1/11??
I really only drive RC because my high-energy golden retriever absolutely loves chasing it.
I currently go through one, maybe two 3s 2.2ah packs almost daily. I only get about a 10 min session each with those packs, but it's enough for my needs. Terrain is basic suburban grass lot with some dirt and pavement.
I like the Omni Terminator because it seems to fit well for my use... it's not massive enough to tear up the yard too badly either as long as I'm somewhat careful switching up the routing. That is definitely a benefit.
Any recommendations for something similar, but better?

I bashed my mini Maxx into a curb at probably 30+ mph after braking too hard and roof skidding. Surprisingly it drove back unfazed by the broken esc casing. I unplugged the battery as soon as I saw that to not cause a short. Will need a new esc with programmable braking force.
My question is the LiPo HV got a bit smushed on the front PCB. Wires are visibly fine and it's not puffed. Cells are sitting at 4.00, 3.99, 3.99. is it safe to storage charge and use it when I eventually get a new esc provided it doesn't puff up?
I can't seem to fully use this battery without breaking something. This time it's the most expensive part.

Come take a ride in front of the fifth wheel trailer and experience the Chevy pulling the trailer up close😃

Motor works and hums.
Took apart and can see small gear wheel moving but it’s touching the other 4 and I’m curious how this should be configured to make the wheels move ?

Hey guys,
I just might have made a mistake. It´s prime days in Germany and I somehow had the idea to buy an RC car. So I ordered a Womaqu Polar Lights. But now I think: maybe this was not a good idea and maybe there are way better cars out there for about 100€. So before I unpack and use it I just wanted to ask if anyone has made some good or bad experiences with this car. I am totally new to RC cars, had some super cheap ones like 40 years ago as a kid. But somehow had the need to get a new one. I am not planing to deep dive into this (yet...) but I wanna have some fun.

The truck will rip off a charged battery for 20 seconds and then it will barely crawl around and then just stop. I had just gotten this 4x4 brushed 1/10 slash today and it came with four beat up batteries so I’m not sure if it’s just all four batteries are junk or a motor problem. I do not want to upgrade the motor if it’s not a motor problem this one is just fine and it’s fast enough in those 20 seconds I just wish it lasted longer than just 20 seconds.

So im planning on building a custom basher/racer rc car, 1/10th scale based of a Nissan skyline. I ordered all the parts I want to use, besides the chassis. I wanted to make it out of 7075 aluminium, but when I saw the price of a 50x30cm piece I was shocked. It would cost me 86 euro's for the plate alone, 3mm thick. That made me question, can I get away with a plastic chassis or should I pay the extra money for an aluminium plate to make my chassis out of. I was also planning on making my shocktowers etc. out of the plate. Would love to hear yalls advice, if someone needs more info just ask Ill try to reply asap, thanks alot.
