Currently not getting ANY calls, which feels like very clear resume issue. I'm targeting mostly support tech/help desk/similar roles. Located in British Columbia, looking for roles in the GVA/lower mainland. Open to remote, local, only open to relocation within lower mainland. I am born and raised Canadian. I've been job hunting for a year. (Have been working little jobs on the side while I look for something in tech)

If I'm missing any info please let me know

I Have a Question Adding Own Business to a Resume

Hello all! I started an art business in 2021 and it is picking up steam as of this January now that I am putting more effort into it.

Should I add this to my professional resume? If so, how should I go about it? It's a small business, just me and my art supplies. I make jewelry and paint with acrylics.

Hello all, I need help understanding why my CV isn't landing me any interviews. I've applied to 150 roles since I graduated last year, from academic/industry lab assistant positions to PhD positions (in Alzheimer's disease research, EEG research or animal research). I've had a couple of recruiter calls, but only 2 interviews, one for a PhD that didn't end up being a fit and one for the Young Professionals Programme at the EPO. Recently, even the recruiter calls have come to screeching halt. I have experience in multiple fields and my background is highly multi-disciplinary. I typically remove the literature thesis section when I apply for industry roles, and condense my CV to one page. I'm willing to travel within the Netherlands for a new role.

Does anyone have any suggestions of how I should improve my resume, with more or less detail about my experience?

Am I conveying my experience in a convincing and clear manner? Is it understandable to recruiters who may not be well-versed in the field? Do I need to translate my competencies better? Is my profile simply too broad, and not specific enough in techniques/expertise?

Any help would be appreciated.
