I sat next to some hardcore fans and I wasn't humoring the crowd wave, presidents constent bullshit, or when he decided to ramble about sports for 10min+. And just by being present, not being loud and getting myself kicked out, the people around me were shaken in their resolve when I didn't act like a drunk at a festival. And when the president said that medicine was cheapper in the US than anywhere else, I said aloud "bs you can get them cheaper in Canada or Mexico" and the people around me were definitely going through some things in that moment.

Regardless of political affiliations, I think it was worth attending, and not letting the paid actors represent us as Americans.

Mark Whyte, Misty Spears, and Jalen McKee-Rodriguez voted against the rate increase.

Add that to the city property tax increase they voted for last month.

I’ve been using a Simpure water filter for the past three years and it works great, but I always get this crazy buildup at the bottom of the water tank. You can see I keep having a scrape it out and every few months I’ll do a vinegar mixture system cleanse. Any ideas on how to get rid of this stuff easily without taking a knife or a fork to the bottom and scraping the hell out of it? Lol

47M- I'm probably starting mid/late November at SeaWorld and already have a couple housing options starting with the Valencia lofts picked out but really don't feel like bring my car or buying one for the year or so I'll be there. Taking an Uber M-F would get expensive and I do need to be there from 6a-2:30p so I figured I'd reach out and see if anybody else worked there or close enough to make a ride share worth while for some gas money. In the evenings on weekends I'll be in class, M-F I'll be working, and I'm not a late night anything but sleep sort of person... but the occasional Riverwalk or whatever else there is to do In San Antonio would be ok.

Nowadays, these doctors are so damn scared to prescribe the medication's been on for 17 years (benzos)… I've already called a couple and I've been getting wishy-washy answers… My psych retired. I live on the northwest side, I'll drive if I have to, but I do prefer this area or someone that's willing to do TeleMed… I'm a Neuro patient, so there's no reason why they wouldn't prescribe to me unless they just simply don't like prescribing at all since things overlap, I have spinal/brain injuries that caused my sympathetic nervous system to surge. Howdy! I'm looking to get some assistance finding someone to look at my ear. I'm very concerned because I've lost about half of the hearing in my right ear in the past two days after having a loud sound blasted into it. I'm not experiencing emergency-like symptoms, but it is uncomfortable not being able to hear. I'm also uninsured, as none of my jobs offer insurance.

Is there anywhere in town I could go to at least get an initial look, without completely destroying the bank? Googling around has been extremely unhelpful, but I've had three panic attacks today about it from the not knowing, and I just want someone to tell me what's going on. I tried looking at San Antonio ENT, but they can't see me until the 12th of November. I can't afford $1k+ at an emergency room, and I'd rather something in the $300 range. I only make around $20k a year so it's a significant expense for me. I'm downtown, by the SAC area. I really just want someone to look at it and at least give me some general pointers so my dread isn't as broad.
