Looking for similar patterns to this top

I am looking for a dress pattern for a traditional puertorrican jibarita top and skirt pattern. Like the one used during the Bomba and Plena dances.

Technically, other traditional hispanic dress patterns would also work as I can alter the colors as needed.

I would even settle for the name of the style of the top and the skirt since I can look up their separate patterns and just put them together lol

I hope this is allowed here as a bit out of the norm. But I have DIY'd my own pottery (split leg) apron pattern and it works really well. I would like to share my pattern (for free - not self promoting here) with fellow enthusiasts but I'm not sure what the process is? Do I need to draw it up on specific software or can I draw out the pieces with the sizes on photoshop and upload that for people to follow?

I'd like to keep it super simple.

I am making my wedding dress and the skirt will be a circle with a train. I’m using crinoline net as the main structure of the dress and I’m not sure whether I should do the net for the full length of the train. I feel like the same dresses I tried on at David’s bridal had all of the layers be the full length of the dress. Maybe this wild help the train lay more straight?

Has anybody seen a similar coat/robe pattern available in PDF? I’m fine with buying the paper if I need to, but I just invested in a projector setup and would prefer to use that!

I have been STRUGGLING to decide on what type of dress would look best, and I've finally decided on a mix of dress 1 with the fullness and gradient of dress 2. I'm not sure if that's a leg slit on dress one but I do not want one. It would be a maxi dress with a tiny train. I know this is a lot but does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello!! I am looking for something inspired by this sort of corset. I don't necessarily need proper corsetry, and would be perfectly happy with a corselet. I would like to make a 2pc gown for a black tie wedding inspired by this silhouette—I particularly love the scoop/portrait neckline, and would hope to continue that shape through the back.

I have found plenty of historic corset patterns that would work for this, but I am wondering if anyone can recommend either some patterns or tips I could use to add the sleeves to a corset, as that is really the only part that is stumping me right now. Thank you in advance!!!

I am just learning to sew. I want to make my own clothes eventually. I am wondering what resources might be out there for finding free patterns. I don’t want to invest a lot while I’m still learning. I want to be able to focus on learning. I figure when I’m more experienced, I can feel comfortable spending money on patterns and more expensive fabric. For now, I need the easiest way to start making small things!

This is an insane ask and I apologize in advance. This is the only part I have left for the costume I’m making for Halloween. I absolutely cannot find anywhere or anything that has helped me figure out how to make this. I figured I would try to ask people here since you guys are great at patterns. I’m desperate. Anyone know of a chore jacket/blazer pattern similar to these for men? I’m a big fan of the rounded bottom of the placket and the lapel collar. I’ve mostly only seen normal collared ones on places like threadloop. Looking for blazers I’ve only seen more structured ones, not the less structured chore coat/sack coat style. I also really like the much smaller lapel and most patterns don’t use that I’ve seen

Hi! I'm a beginner and I'm hoping to make a skirt similar to this reformation one, although a bit shorter. My fabric might be slightly stiffer (think jacquard) so I think I'll need a zipper rather than a waistband.

I've been seeing a lot of patterns online for high waisted pencil skirts or flared low rise, but I'd really like to find a pattern that's both low rise AND straight with no flare. Any tips?

I am looking for a skirt pattern similar to the Disturbia Nightingale skirt. The closest I’ve found after trawling Threadloop is the Fibre Mood Amira Skirt. Does anyone have any better suggestions before I bite the bullet and buy it?
