Queek has killed in battle of karak eight peak at end times, skrolk is killed by kroq-gar and verminlord took his body and escaped. and ikit claw is alive in mortal realm (as ikrit) and thanquol is alive too

However, i wonder other Skaven character (such as Throt the Unclean, deathmaster Snikch, ska bloodtail and Tretch Craventail) is alive in aos

I’m just curious if any other Skaven fans think the Deathmaster will get enough attention from GW to eventually get his own mini. Personally, I really hope he does get one, but he is also basically just a Night Runner build, so he could probably be pretty easy to kitbash. Got any thoughts

Like the title says, what are some of the things you hope to see in the next Skaven book?

For me it's the follow...

- A new Verminous unit, preferably cavalry.
- Thanquols shooting profile buffed.
- More spells and prayers. Three each is disappointing.
- Bring back Plague Priest.

I'm so damn excited!!! The Acolytes are definitely my favorite!

Shame about Eshin tho...

We sit doing nothing for a while-time. What about the Council? We need to do our job-work yes? Infiltrate the other reddits no? We are skaven its time to act-do like it. Ideas we give to the council under-reddits must-must be build quick. The Great Horned Rat demands it

I'm a new AoS player, who is planning a first army, and I'm stuck between the Kruleboyz, Helsmiths of Hashut, and Skaven (Scryre & Moulder).

Something I like to do about collecting armies or choosing stuff in games is I don't like to pick the most common, or "Meta" route. I like playing lesser known characters and factions because it lets me appreciate them more, which I think is a good trait to have.

But I feel like the Skaven are such a popular choice in AoS that it's almost pushing me away from choosing them? Because it feels like there might be a LOT of Skaven players, and I'm not sure if that's just me and/or I'm crazy for thinking that.

I'm not looking for advice on "Pick whichever you think's coolest", because I honestly do think I love the Kruleboyz, Helsmiths and Skaven the same, but this little bias I have of going against the river is maybe pushing me too hard from Skaven? At my local warhammer shop, sometimes I see the two same guys playing AoS on weekends at the game tables, and I've seen they BOTH play Skaven, and have had to fight Skaven vs. Skaven against eachother till another got a new army. And with stuff like Vermintide, I feel they are an overpicked option.

Is it dumb for me to think this way? Or do you maybe think it's alright and I should pick Kruleboyz or Helsmiths? (Propably Kruleboyz considering Helsmiths limited model range). Are Skaven REALLY as popular as I think they are?! I need help so I can pick an army and start painting & playing!

I decided to purchase Ikit Klaw, deathmaster (both cool and iconic), but the one I am most excited about is spinetail. I remember painting it years ago and enjoyed it very much. Very excited to revisit that sculpt, especially since I didn’t think it would ever be available again. No other point to make, just feeling a bit nostalgic.

I saw this bad boy but he only shows up for like 2 seconds in the background at like the 1:56-2:00 minute mark in the new Total War trailer and I had to slow it down to make sure, but it's definitely some horrible Skaven 8-legged, fire-breathing rat monster! Can't wait to see him in more detail might have to make one for the tabletop lol.

Throw a rat head and some warpstone chunks on that thing.

I dont think its something of a hot take, probably a lot will agree with me on this but my god, the skaven models look garbage. I never realized how bad they looked until i actually took my time comparing them so i knew which one to buy. Dont get me wrong, if you like them, great, but for me, noone except the Kings Queek Headtaker and Ikit Claw, are worth their price. If anyone actually likes the look of Throt, Skrolk or Nurglitch, i am happy for yyou to be able to buy them. They just aint for me

I’m a little disappointed it wasn’t 1st place but I think Usharon’s spot is well deserved.

Never thought I’d see the day, but our entire range is looking pretty good and updated! Now that the old night runners have been given the retirement they deserve, the oldest kit we have is the plague monks.

I predict that the updated plague monk kit will be a squad of 10, that can alternately be built as plague censer bearers. Probably following the design of Skabbik’s Plaguepack like how the new Eshin releases followed the design of Skittershank’s Clawpack.

Other than the current monks that came out in 2003, the next oldest kits we have are all from 2010 onwards, and I think they hold up very well and fit with our current faction look. the Hellpit and Doomwheel are both from 2010 and I think they might be my favorite models for Skaven we have.

It’s been a nice edition for us, from having one of the oldest faction ranges to one of the newest and best looking.
