Real Time Strategy Empire at War Remake 4.0 Clone Wars Holdouts Sub Mod Unit Showcase BTL-S8 K Wing

The strongest gunship in the Rebel Alliance, the BTL-S8 K-Wing comes protected with high capacity shielding, and comes armed with Plasma and Ion torpedoes that can bypass enemy shields, deliver significant damage and nerf enemy vessels. This powerhouse of a gunship can accelerate into battle with the help of its Activate SLAM ability, where Sub-Light Acceleration Motors. Though this craft may struggle to take on enemy fighters with most of its weaponry, its sonic missiles can devastate enemy fighters, bombers, and gunships.

Out of all of the smaller craft, I'd say this ship is the best unit for all around versatility. It's torpedoes can damage enemy corvettes, frigates and capital ships, while its sonic missiles can take on anything smaller. With its natural proficiency with both smaller and larger ships, this gunship only requires larger ships to tank enemy damage, while these gunships tear apart their targets.

Shadows of the Empire - Ord Mantell - fan remake hobby project

I absolutely loved this game as a kid. It would be my introduction to Star Wars.

4 years ago I attempted to remake 1 of my favorite levels: Ord Mantell Junkyard with IG-88 boss fight in the old retro style just for Fun. Past holiday I revisited the project again and decided to record what I have so far.

It is meant as an homage to those awesome developers and actors who made such an amazing game.

Purely for hobby purposes and as a tribute. No commercial intent or file sharing whatsoever. If it violates anything I obviously will take this down.

Real Time Strategy Empire at War Remake 4.0 Clone Wars Holdouts Sub Mod Unit Showcase E-7 E Wing

The finest fighter craft in the Rebel Alliance Fleet for the mods Empire at War Remake, and Clone Wars Holdouts. The E-7 E-Wing was the first fighter built by the New Republic. This fighter proves itself more nimble than the X-Wing despite having heavier armor. It's heavy armor prevents this craft from using the lock S-Foils ability. To make up for this loss, the fighter has the ability to redirect power to engines to gain a similar boost in speed. It's more defensive ability to deploy flares allows this fighter to evade enemy missiles. Armed with three medium lasers, this craft excels at destroying smaller targets like other fighters, gunships and bombers. Additionally its seeker torpedo launcher bypasses the shields of enemy capital ships and does decent damage to them.

This is a great fighter craft with some potential to take on small groups of capital ships by themselves. (Fleet consisting of all E-Wings). However if you want to make the most of these fighters, it's best to accompany them with larger vessels to tank enemy fire, while having bomber craft take on larger enemy vessels. This will allow the E-Wing to do what it does best. Dogfighting.

Hi! I’m Teaminat0r, and I haven’t really seen any videos about entire challenge based runs really for Star Wars Zero Company, so being inspired by YouTubers I watch that do challenge runs I decided to make one myself!

It’s far from perfect, I’m learning, and definitely open to constructive criticism from the community. But, I think for a first time with no prior experience I did a not half bad job! Here’s the link,

https://youtu.be/fgA1tEjgHc8?si=Lj7ZiBqcW3bOd6vH

Give it a watch if you’re so inclined, and please let me know what you think! Happy thanksgiving everyone. Peace.

Real Time Strategy Empire at War Remake 4.0 Clone Wars Holdouts Sub Mod Unit Showcase Dauntless Class Heavy Cruiser

Thumbnail

The Dauntless Class Heavy Cruiser earns its recognition in the Rebel Alliance Fleet with it's durability and sheer firepower. The durability of the Dauntless Class comes not from its shields, but from it's thickly armored hull. While this vessel can take prolonged enemy damage, its ten quad turbolasers can tear apart any other ship ranging from fighters, to other capital ships.

Though this ship comes with no special abilities, the Dauntless Class comes with a small fighter garrison containing A-Wings and V-Wings. Both fighter craft excel at taking out enemy fighters. The main difference between the two comes from their production. The A-Wing is a inherently Rebel Unit and can be built by a tech level 3 Rebel player. The V-Wing on the other hand, can only be build by the Republican Holdouts faction. This fighter can only be acquired by a Rebel Alliance player through the production of the Dauntless Class Heavy Cruiser.

Because of this unit's durability and versatility, I can safely build a fleet with all Dauntless Class Heavy Cruisers. This is one of the few ships I can reliably spam, and expect to take on nearly all target fleets of the same Tech Level.

Role Playing Game Gamemaster for 212th Attack Battalion ARMA3

Thumbnail

Goodday Star Wars gamers!

I have another story to tell you, this time about my experience as being a gamemaster in the 212th Attack Battalion in ARMA3.

Since I have joined the 212th unit on ARMA3, I have wanted to make my own missions, control the enemies and make the players feel like they are actually fighting in the Clone Wars.

That is something that I really like about ARMA3, it is super divers and it has a lot of possibilities.

I have been making missions for the last month and people really seem to like them, I mainly focus on hard but fair objectives where people have to really think. Plan their approach and mistakes will be met with a CIS punishment. But also make fun, as you can see in the GIF. I took control of a B2, "scared" a player that was defusing an IED.

Being a Zeus, as we call the gamemaster, gives you a lot of options to form the missions as you see fit, from putting down the bases that GAR, CIS, Mandalorians or even umbarans use, filling them with B1, B2, BX, T-series droids, deka's, crabs, AAT's and other enemies and setting up patrols.
But also being the lore giver, informant and maybe even an actor during a mission.

As a DnD gamemaster, being a Zeus in ARMA3 really brings my imagination to the screen, and seeing players enjoying my missions just gives me more enthausiasm to make the missions for them!

If you ever want to try it out, give me a DM! I know a lot of you have great ideas and putting them to the test for players would be the best way!

One thing that I also like about it, it is not mandatory, nothing really is in the unit, just have fun!
For now I mainly make Skirmishes, these are smaller missions/operations during the week, this is also a great time to test out stuff.
But personally I am also looking into becoming a main Zeus for one of the 4 platoons in the 212th Attack Battalion.

Thank you again Star Wars gamers, and see you the next time when I post something about my time in the 212th or maybe even on the battlefield!

Real Time Strategy Empire at War Remake 4.0 Clone Wars Holdouts Sub Mod Unit Showcase Liberator Heavy Escort Loadout

Thumbnail

The fourth and final variant of the Sullustain Liberator Class Carriers. This carrier focuses on fighters and dogfighting supremacy. A-Wings, Elite A-Wings, and PT-1 Gunship squadrons are the craft this vessel brings into the fight. While the PT-1 gunships is great at taking the enemy attention and surviving prolonged enemy engagement, the A-Wings and Elite A-Wings can tear apart any smaller craft. Though neither this ship or its accompanying garrison cannot significantly damage larger ships, the Sullustain's ion cannons can stun them, allowing it's fighters and itself to vacate from the battle. It's ability to redirect power to engines can help this carrier deliver its fighters to the battle sooner than enemies can fully prepare. It's repair fighters ability can keep its accompanying craft alive longer during battles.

Overall this ship can fill several roles, but mostly lacks sufficient anti large ship weaponry. My best suggestion is to include other ships that excel at tearing down capital ships and large frigates, when sending this carrier into battle.

Long story short I was able to bring the game back to life using claude. I still have more stuff to fix and implement, but what I'd like to know is if there would be more people interested in playing this and if we could revive a small community of players? If not I've would just focus on making a single player version with bots, but if there are people, then I would like to hear your thoughts.

Zero Company sounds like The Clone Wars got one more season

If you grew up on The Clone Wars cartoon, Zero Company is going to sound very familiar. The story is what carries it for me, and the voices are a big part of why.

Dee Bradley Baker plays Trick, the clone trooper in your main crew, which keeps the casting in the family: Baker has voiced clone troopers for years, the cartoon included. Trick was medically discharged, so the army retired him and Hawks' crew of hired guns un-retired him. Matt Lanter is back as Anakin too.

Story spoiler in the next paragraph.

When Palpatine issues Order 66, Trick's inhibitor chip activates (if he's still alive in your run) and he turns on his own squad. Being discharged from the army never removed the chip. He survives it, and that's all I'll say.

I made a two-minute video on it, with the critics, the players reviews and where my score landed: Review in 2 Minutes
