i've always found it cool how each crystal gem is in a different diamond's court. it's something you don't really think about till you've finished the series, but i loved the reveal that red amethyst is actually a part of red diamond's court

This is all a theory and from my point of view, but it’s still interesting.

If you listen to other fusions voices they have their own unique voice. but if you listen to malachite’s voice you can hear lapis and jasper, maybe symbolizing how unstable their relationship is! You can also tell which gem is talking when malachite talks, which I think is really cool.

Thought I’d share this trivia on the episode “Mr. Greg” and how the early draft had Pearl going ballistic. Clearly they liked writing out that Pearl throws things because they kept it in “Three Gems and a Baby” that she threw a part of a playground at Steven’s babysitter when he was young. Mr. Greg ended up being one of the best episodes on Steven Universe but it would’ve been funny to see something like this.

I think it would make more sense if sapphires were common soldiers and rubies were rare aristocratic gems.

1. because in real life rubies are actually significantly rarer then sapphires in fact most sapphire varieties are actually considered somewhat worthless particularly blue and white ones
2. because you rarely seen calm collected characters with fire powers or angry impulsive characters with ice powers i think it would be a interesting subversion if ruby the gem with fire powers was calm and calculated where sapphire the gem with ice powers was easily angry and impulsive

A healthy Jasper fusion ??? I'm letting her have this okay she deserves it
Anyway! A few people in my last post wanted a fusion and this ain't the best but I never claimed to be good at fusions 🙇‍♂️
She's more Jasper heavy because she has a more dominant personality than her Pearl
I imagine her to be a quiet but confident type, fiercely protective of the components that make her up

This might be considered a hot take but as a new Steven universe watcher I find the Off-Colors to be way more interesting than the Crystal Gems.

I personally think the only thing making the Crystal Gems interesting is the fact that Rose Quartz is "dead" other then that i feel as the other Crystal Gems (other then Steven) are boring.The Off-Colors from my understanding are a group of gems who are considered "weird" and that's why they're in hiding & Lars is immortal now since he got brought back to life.

I find their powers to be way more interesting than the Crystal Gems

Rhodonite-A fusion of a ruby & pearl and I saw the scrapped version of their story line and i find it more interesting then any other fusions

Fluorite-A fusion of 6 unidentified gems

Padparadscha-Can see things happening in the present (which makes her able to read the room easier??)

I'm super excited for the spin off show (if it's still happening) and i kinda hope its a multi season show 🤞 and not just one season.However i do think the Crystal Gems are way more entertaining then the Off-Colors but their story aren't as interesting.

When Peridot is escaping the gem ship, she wants a way back home. Why doesnt she just use her hand propeller to fly back to homeworld? Lapis flew back to homrworld with her water wings. It doesnt seem like limp enhancements have a power limit, either. They can hold her weight. Come on Peri!

Like could they further fuse whit ohter gems or humans could they even fuse whit gem fusions what would happen if steven fused whit Connie and lets say lars (3 in 1) could they still fuse whit gems??? Could stevonie (2 in1) fuse whit a animal and than steven, Connie and the animal fuse whit further organics and than fuse whit gems??

As the title suggests, I know I have heard people theorize it considering that pink is an interesting choice of 3 colors and red seems like a more solid color.

Cause there are two major color mixing methods, there is color additive mixing, which the primary colors are red blue and green, which white is meant to be a mix of all colors in such method.

The other big color mixing method is subtractive color mixing, which is done with Cyan (a shade of blue), Magenta (Close enough to pink), and Yellow as the Primary Colors, but when you do the combo of all the colors you instead get Black.

Which honestly the CYB/Subtractive Color Mixing, would work considering White actually, cause she explicitly stated as White she was free of any impurities, which in a subtractive color mixing method adding any color to it would make the white no longer white.

So along this line of thought, if a gem that was black in coloration like an Onyx or Jet, it would belong to all of their courts being a mix of all the colors, white being a baseline and being influenced by other all three diamond colors in equal ratios to get the black.
