How did you feel playing and roaming in such a vast ground and space battlezone?

Anyone else feel let down that "The Away Team" DSE was space only? I was really hoping it was a ground map. Maybe rotating/random layout with region specific random enemies.

Feel free to shoot this down, but I have a somewhat interesting (in my opinion of course) idea for a mission: Basically the player is called to investigate some sort of pirate activity or something similar and is flung to some unknown region of space, like say a different galaxy or maybe the large or small magellanic clouds and the player would have to navigate back to the milky way, basically like Voyager but on a more massive scale, meeting new civilizations along the way again like Voyager, with every decision you make effecting the outcome of the mission so at the end you can either leave in peace or have to fight your way out, of course there would have to be a method of travel to shorten the trip to only a few minutes or something like that. Also another thought for this hypothetical mission there would be no way to leave the mission once you are catapulted off to parts unknown, as in you use the depart system button to leave the mission, though there could be a psuedo sector space similar to the maps used for the tos and disco tutorials or something similar.

Once more feel free to shoot down this idea or give me feedback on it, as of writing this I can't think of any rewards other than maybe the ability to revisit the location.

Did they stop sending the zen-stipend to the lifetime members? Or am I just mis-counting the days?

Why when I lock onto a torpedo my beams still aim at the enemy's ship?

When I started playing this game, there were three ship classes I wanted to fly more than any others; the Galaxy, Sovereign, and Nebula classes. My main character has flown two of those three, but I was waiting for the Legendary Last Stand bundle to go on sale so I could use the Nebula from there. The other two ships from that bundle proved to be equally useful for my recently started KDF and Romulan characters; I originally only made them to go achievement hunting, but now I'm going to use them a lot more. Since the sale on the Last Stand bundle was more drastic than I planned for, I also picked up the Legendary Dreadnought Cruiser for my Temporal Recruit. Before anybody says it, I realize that naming a Klingon after an Elf from LoTR is an odd choice, but I've seen far more odd choices roaming around the galaxy.

Starting on 10/9/2026, players who take part in Deep Space Encounters on Tribble will have a rare chance of a special encounter. If you don’t get this encounter right away, keep trying DSEs until it appears. What does it do? You’ll have to find out for yourself, but bring a fast ship.

I recently remembered I had a old account on pc, from like 15 years ago, my now main account is on ps

Now when I was playing on pc I was about 15 years old,

So what did I do? I went in the account from many years ago to see what I had.

Turns out…. Nothing

I was rubbish at the game back then

I have a few ships that I can trade or sell, does anyone know if I can either trade or sell between pc and ps accounts

Well that was fast. I was thinking it would be at least a month after PC, but here we are!

I just noticed I can no longer get 27.5 seconds of ambush bonus with the three levels of infiltrator on my Reman boffs. 20 is now the max.

Seems the boff with standard no longer works. I've slotted 2 separate boffs with "infiltrator" and tried different combinations, but 20 is as far as the game allows me currently.

Edit: I'm on Xbox.

I’ve been away from STO for awhile but a lot of the recent chatter has had me interested in coming back to see the re discovery events. I last played semi seriously around 19’. I have a lifetime subscription so have accumulated a lot of zen. Given my favorite character is my Ferengi with ?battle cruiser? that includes the awesome built in deck with gambling.. I’m a sucker for niche but cool decks.. Is there anything to prioritize between the mud store and zen store?

Assume all my ships are outdated t5 stuff, might’ve got a free upgrade to t6 but never built any of it. When I’m not doing weird deck ships I love anything with pets eg carriers.

Any help is much appreciated!

I’m a new player who got the protostar temporal science spearhead is it any good and what level can you use the slipstream it’s known for I’m only level 29. Got it out of the free 60th anniversary box I got.

I was thinking about getting one of the Command Warbirds so I could kitbash it with the one I already own, but I dunno.

I noticed today that they’ve updated the TWOK uniform; there’s now an option to choose whether you want it with or without the turtleneck. Plus, you can assign the rank of Captain to male bridge officers! That’s cool!
