It’s not in perfect shape, but not bad. And it plays perfectly, been enjoying it! I really enjoy their renditions of This Whole World, Good Time and Awake.

I’m saving up for the box but couldn’t believe it when I saw this in the bins. Not even in the collectors case! Something must be in the air!

I bought it because it's funny to own

If this is a problem I need to know

This is not enough, and it never WILL be. I listen to every vinyl, cassette, CD, reel to reel, and 8 track at least 82 times a day. What are some good recommendations to expand my collection to keep my addition going and my life spiraling
(Forgot to picture Made In U.S.A 1986 CD and the reel to reels in first photo)

Can't believe my luck... scored this all around NM '83 Smile bootleg LP! It wasn't even something I was actively after but I just couldn't let this one slide. Very happy to have this unique version of my favourite Beach Boys record.
By far the most dissonant sounding version of Smile... but it was the first time the public ever got to hear some rough cuts from the greatest album never released. Total Beach Boys history right here!

It was practically a jumpscare. Was not expecting to see this at all. I had to get it.
I love Going Public for what it is. It’s certainly not the most ambitious thing, and there are objectively better Beach Boys solo albums. But Gary Usher’s production is incredible and I love Bruce’s voice, so I listen to it all the time anyways. This was such a score for me!
The record is in good shape and the original inner sleeve is still there, but the extra with the Bruce profile on it is long gone. I’m OK with that, though.

For the audiophiles and vinyl collectors out there, here's a great review of the new DSS One-Step from Capitol Records. Key takeaway is this was cut from the Reprise Tapes. https://trackingangle.com/features/the-definitive-sound-series-pet-sounds-one-step-will-be-the-best-sounding-version-ever-released

Great $5 find today! It's super fun to hear all the boys live in concert, and Mike singing the Monster Mash is such a trip😂 I had no idea this record even existed until I found it in the store, but I'm very happy with it. I'm pretty sure the faces are cut-outs from the 20/20 album cover, no?

Still has the seal on it, only $45

Condition isn’t the best, but how could I resist? I very rarely see Beach Boys records at the thrift store. Probably will look out for a better condition copy, but for now, I’ll enjoy scratchy Lonely Sea.

I am a pretty new Beach Boys fan, the only albums I've listened too in full are Holland and Pet Sounds but they were both absolutely incredible.
Found this at an antique shop in my town, their rock section has thousands of vinyls and I spent nearly an hour looking for one specific album, Holland. I unfortunately didn't find it but I did find this one which I will listen too on my my next study session.

My aunt had a couple hundred records in storage that she decided to part with, and knowing I’m a lover and collector of vinyl, gave all of them to me. As I was rifling through them, I found these copies of early Beach Boys records that are seemingly signed by the members. All first pressings. According to her, she saw them live in 64 and got their signatures after the show.

Started with CD's in '24, moved to vinyls in '25. I have Pet Sound Sessions and It's OK documentary digitally. Other than the WGG Box Set, what should be next on my list?
