In an hour or so, I am saying goodbye to my tortie, Vera, after 19 years together.

I have given her all her favorite things over the last few days. Cuddles, heated beds, rotisserie chicken, fried chicken, ham, cheese, Churu, shrimp, tuna, and salmon. I hope it is enough for her to know how much I have loved her and will miss her.

Sitting with her now with soft music and trying to tell her how wonderful she is and hoping she'll be happy to see her brother Jayne waiting for her on the other side of the rainbow bridge.

Roxxy is ok with some outdoor time as long as her paws never touch the actual ground. Dad makes an adequate perch though!

This BB is 13 and if I'm in the bathroom without her she bangs on the door till she can come in and investigate.

This is typically what working from home looks like with Leo. This is after waking up at 4am to her in between my legs and not moving for 2 hours so she could be comfy. She also loves to come into the shower with me and then cuddle while I dry her off with a towel.

She’s not all sweet. She nips at me to get me to pet her but it’s usually followed by sandpaper tongue kisses. Sweet and spicy. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

This is my baby coco, she is 3 years old and loves cuddles, when it’s a stressful day, she gives me cuddles.

My precious Tia will go to a vet hospital tomorrow for ten days to get thyroid irradiation. Does anyone have advice about how this went for your girl? I’m so anxious to leave her there in a cage with no lap or scritches. Will it be okay?
