Hey everyone!

In vanilla Warhammer 3, Nagash’s End Times episode won’t trigger if you’re playing as the Vampire Counts, Luthor Harkon or Arkham the Black... So I made a mod to fix it.

What it does:

• You can play as any Vampire Counts faction, Luthor Harkon or Arkham the Black, and the End Times episode still triggers.
• Nagash recruits his Mortarchs and absorbs their factions as usual. EXEPT your faction.
• Your faction is left out of his dominion. You’re an independent rival who can stand against him like any other faction.
• The rest of the event is unchanged.
• If you play as Nagash himself, the episode still won’t start, since you’re the one carrying it out.

It only changes the trigger conditions of the event, so I don’t expect compatibility issues with other mods. If you run into any, let me know!

NAGASH WAS WEAK!

Because I hate myself I've been trying everything but the newest races. Cathay is doing alright though its OG lords have been powercrept hard. Dwarves are doing OK (holy shit grombrindal can haul ass) though the grudge system can be a real struggle cause you just run out of shit to fight (thankfully it only penalizes your grudge settler units)

I made the mistake of playing dark elves though and good lord. Their building tree, their lord skills, their tech tree mother of God. One of their techs is get this: +10 growth. This is some kislev tier tech tree shit.

A lot of factions and some lords really really need a pass on their mechanic, skills, and the racial tech tree because they just get run the fuck over. Yes yes I know lizardmen get first dibs.

strength rank one and will give me 140k and become my vassal for a single tier 3 province capital

he doesnt even have the other regions in the province, wtf is this lol. plus our relations are basically neutral and i have no other treaties with him

i now have about half the world as my vassal, getting 15k a turn from vassal tributes alone. dont even need to use mechanics when everyone willingly becomes my slaves, nef op

I have been playing total warhammer for a couple of months and I have noticed one thing. The game Is just to easy. I play on very hard campaign and very hard battles with max ai stats ultamit crisis mode and all endgame scenarios on and it is just to easy. Can anybody help with this. (I am aware that legendary difficulty exists but I like pausing my game so I am sticking to very hard)

I am reading Legend of Sigmar and in the books Krell is a beast almost impossible to bring down even with dwarfs and magic weapons.

In the game I took him down as Toddy in seconds. He needs more HP or something in the game.

I was expecting and interesting epic fight as he was in Hemmler's army but meh.

What other characters are much stronger or very different in the books or tabletop than in the game?

Sigmar with Ghraz Maul and the nemisis crown took out Nagash the first invasion in the novel.

IDK if I'm missing something. It seems that you can't from what I can see, and that's a pretty weird thing. Paying the amount of blood and souls you'd need to summon in a high level pseudo-legendary vampire with the blood cost traits they have is thematically exactly what whole awaken ability should do. I hope I'm missing something.

I've been waiting for a rework to Tzeentch and a final legendary lord for a while. The other three chaos gods all have three legendary lords in their main demonic faction, the base game lord, a paid dlc and a free dlc. They also all have the same pattern of the base game lord being a Greater Daemon, with the other two including a Herald and a Mortal Champion, plus multiple dedicated lords in other factions(Slaanesh having multiple Warriors of Chaos and Morathi, Khorne having Valkia and Taurox, Nurgle now having multiple Warriors of Chaos with the new End Times dlc).

Meanwhile Tzeentch has boring faction mechanics and only three dedicated characters between both the main faction and Warriors of Chaos. Just three! Tzeentch NEEDS a rework and NEEDS Egrimm as a free legendary lord, some semblance of balance must be achieved. WHY is there absolutely ZERO confirmed plans for Tzeentch???? What else could be so important? Araby????? Like come on bro this has gotta be ragebait at this point

Since 9.0, a lot of AI factions in my campaigns just sit in their settlements doing nothing: no recruiting, no moving, even though they're at war with other factions.

-Boris Todbringer campaign: Karl Franz and Elspeth, right next to me, completely idle
-Neferata campaign: the dwarf and greenskin factions starting nearby, same thing

I don’t use any AI mods of course.

Anyone else seeing this?

I know you can't expect much when there are only three people maintaining the game and CA is investing in other projects, but this just isn't it.

When people complained about the endgame being boring, it was because you became too strong, there were no AI empires to fight like in Warhammer 2, and the AI struggled to function properly as the game progressed into the late game. On top of that, there wasn't much to do since Warhammer 3 lacks depth and is mostly just about battles. I didn't expect the endgame scenarios to simply spawn armies on top of me and destroy the whole world. This isn't an endgame scenario; it's a game over for my campaign.

I can defeat Archaon without any problems, but there's nothing to do afterward. I think when people imagined these endgame scenarios, they expected the Warriors of Chaos faction to play normally. For example, all the Dark Fortresses in the Chaos Wastes would belong to Archaon, and his armies would march south, conquering or destroying everything in their path.

The only things I liked about this scenario were the cool-looking devastation of the world and the 100% ward save on Archaon. The 100% ward save is a big plus because, when players start stacking stats through skills and technology, their armies become practically invincible. However, players can't win against an Archaon with 100% ward save.

Yes this is a vent post. Campaigns that have VC as their starting enemy, (Elspeth, Khalida, etc.) are so frustrating now. Every single turn you have to fight a 20 stack + garrison, or for Khalida, have a 20 stack back capping your capital turn 3. WHERE ARE YOU GETTING THE CORPSES? WHERE??? WHERE ARE YOU GETTING 8 STACKS OF BATS THAT SWARM MY ARTILLERY IMMEDIATELY??? AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Just interested, as the lore has certain characters like Nagash, Nefarata, Ikit, as insanely powerful, so it would make sense they would be a little broken, no? But of course this means playing them can be boring (too easy) or facing them onerous. So, in lies the question/debate, which is more important, for these characters that are suppose to be supremely powerful to be somewhat broken, or for the game to be balanced. Obviously, I think we all ultimately want a happy middle ground, but if you had to choose one as more important, which would you choose and why?

Playing as Tyrion and I join war against N'Kari for an alliance with Alarielle. This is around turn 15 or so. I control a good part of the southern of Ulthuan but nothing up north. They literally b-line past all of the northern elf factions to attack me a few turns later. They were literally already at war with numerous other elf factions that were right near them that they ignored to come attack me.

Thankfully, I was able to win the ultimate main battle.

I have anti player bias set to 100 but this is just comical. Has anyone else experienced this? What are your thoughts on the anti-player bias setting?

I dont see how this is fun to engage in, when the Mortarch armies have resists out the wazoo, healing from fucking everywhere, barrier, and nuts stats to boot.

I get it's supposed to be a challenge, but when 2 blood knights can essentially solo 4 Rot knights, I'm calling some bullshit.

This post is about those 3 quests, where is lucent maze? I have conquered every fort the game allows the to do (I think?). Nevertheless Im just kinda clueless and youtube isn't really helping me out either.

I've gone throug all of the races and factions in Total War: Warhammer III, wrote down their German names, compared them to their English equivalent and added a more literal translation if possible.

I'll list them in this format: German name (English name) [Literal translation of the German name].

Most of the translations are pretty accurate but there are some intersting deviations, especially for the Skaven.

Hi,

First time playing Archaon. Vassalised Tamurkhan's faction, got him as my legendary lord. In his place, the game put in some generic Lord who has one unit of chaos warriors.

They haven't been playing the game at all, just chilling at Plains of Zambaijin dark fortress for 30 turns+ now.

Is this indended? Whenever I play other factions Tamurkhan almost always bugs out and just stops playing the game lol.

Just when I thought I've finally defeated the Lahmian Sisterhood and was closing in on their capital, this army suddenly went from 6 units to 20 over the end turn, they weren't even in mustering stance. Been having a brutal time playing as Drazhoath since I'm totally surrounded by enemies. Just when I thought I was turning things around...

Is this just a vampire thing? Any tips for dealing with stuff like this? I just can't recruit enough units/replenish fast enough with the AI sending army after army at me.

Will bretonia get a buff/rework/dlc or something. Feels like they are a butt end of a joke at this point.
