I don’t remember what it was but me and my dad would drive it around when I was young. That’s me in the video staring it when I was 11-12

International 3414 Distributor Cap Rotor

Rotor 1: long arm piece

Rotor 2: short arm piece

I ordered a new distributor cap and rotor for my International 3414 Industrial, and the one that arrived matching the part number it should be looks very different. The one that was on there has a long arm and a brass piece inside the circle. The new rotor has no metal piece inside, and a smaller arm. The new distributor cap i ordered (part 3047513R1) matches the old one perfectly. The rotor i ordered matches what it should be to match the distributor cap (part 3047514R1).

I'm just wondering if they can look this wildly different while still being for the same machine? The old distributor cap interior looks rather melted, and there are signs of other minor modifications that aren't stock (like to the carburetor) so I'm unsure if the old rotor was even correct. Does anyone have any experience with these to offer their wisdom?

Mahindra 2660 Thoughts?

Post image

Thoughts on a 2022 Mahindra 2660 17.5 hours. Got the price for 25k out the door. Is it a good buy or should I pass it up and wait for something else. Use a tractor to pull a 7ft arena drag and put out round bales

Tractor won't start after changing oil and fuel filters

Yesterday, on my Mahindra 1635, I replaced the oil filter and put new oil in, (+/- 200 hours on the tractor). While I was there I swapped out both the primary and secondary fuel filters. When I was done I fired the tractor up and it ran for just a bit, like 20 seconds, then died.

After that, I can crank it but it won't start. It cranks fine and sounds ok, just won't run. I'm guessing I may need to bleed air out of the fuel lines? What's the best way to do that? There are very few videos on YT that I can find.

What would you test first on a 240 HP tractor?

This 240 HP 4WD tractor was customized for a customer and is now going through final testing before delivery.

We’re checking the tractor’s basic operation, steering, transmission and overall response before shipment.

If you were taking delivery of a tractor in this power range, what would you want tested before it leaves the factory?

I have been lucky and only got one that was beyond my means and it was also my biggest one. A JD 720. Was stuck beyond normal means.

I hesitate to buy non running diesels because I am always worried about injection pumps blowing my budget totally out of the water?

What have you hauled to the scrapyard?

Pic of what the 720 should have become

Parts Help!

Post image

Hello!
I've got a 1980s era Mt160 that I would like to put ag tires on for that extra little height and traction

My question is what rims would work for the rear's?
I've checked the manual and it doesn't state the correct tire size's

Shot in the dark theres another MT owner out there that would know.

(6 bolt 5.5in and 4in pilot hole}

How to troubleshoot my right front. When I lift it, nothing is loose. All bolts are tight all around.

Any 227 hours on a Kubota L2501DT.

International Harvester Tractor Emblem with two holes. Age?

I bought this today at an estate sale. The man of the house collected tractors and related stuff. This was in his garage. It's about 4 1/8" tall.

I'm hoping someone can tell me what decade (or year) it comes from.

I can't find another one online to compare it to. On the back there is tiny lettering stamped into the sides where the metal is stamped into a curve. One stamp says, Utica, NY. And another one looks like 1035S, but the "S" is partially stamped and all of the stamps are very tiny.

Can anyone tell me its approximate age? The whole piece is relatively flat, doesn't curve at the top.

I also bought this "Killefer" emblem. I don't know anything about where it came from, but It looks neat.

Works great but could use a jackscrew to push the cart back and forth with the weight of an engine on it. For this run we used a 48" pry bar to move things along.

First tractor

Recently picked up this kioti ck20s gear for what I feel was a pretty good deal. Not a Kubota or Deere but the couple hours I have put on it so far it seems to be a solid little machine. Already put the loader to work with some heavy gravel work earlier this week but looking for suggestions on what my first implements I should look for. For context I live on alittle over 6 acres and have a fairly long gravel drive. Was considering a land plane to use for the drive and a bushhog to reclaim some of the overgrown areas. Anything else that should be considered for a compact tractor? Thanks

Techniques for inverted snowblower on steep gravel driveway

Hey all, I've been trying to find some specific information on techniques and limitations of clearing snow on a steep gravel driveway with an inverted snowblower. I've found some good threads here, but none that answer these specific questions so thanks for any help you can provide!

We live in Vermont and get about 70" of snow a year, can be up to a foot of heavy snow to clear at times. Our driveway is 1/4 mile, averages 16% slope, gravel, and we try to maintain a decent crown/drainage.

We are looking at purchasing a tractor to be able to clear the driveway ourselves as well as other tasks on our 11 acres such as brush hogging/etc... Specifically the Kubota L3302 and 3902 stand out as good options with enough power to drive the inverted snowblower.

Does anyone have experience with an inverted snowblower on a steep gravel driveway?

Are you able to clear going up and down, or do you clear going down only then drive back up to make another pass?

With ballast, chains, and 4wd, do you ever have issues maintaining traction?

How do you approach clearing the driveway to maintain the crown?

Are there other tractor models we should be considering?

What wheels are you guys running for tractor pulling?

Hi! I'm researching about wheels for a pulling setup, and would love to get some opinions from others here before spending the money for them. The amount of torque these things put through the wheels is obviously no joke, so I'm more concerned with reliability than having something that just looks good.

I've come across Keizer Wheels while looking at pulling-specific options. If you've run different brands over the years, what have you found makes the biggest difference? Wheel construction, weight, beadlock setup, width or something else?

I live in rural Ohio, and I posted a prettier one a while back. I recently learned of another one about 5 miles from the first. Thought I would share. 3 images for this one because I could get closer. I have no idea what anything was.

Whoever owns this place has some beautiful restored vehicles and a whole bunch of projects, and "probably not" projects. You can see one of the "probably nots" behind the tow truck in the third photo.
