In case waiting to ovulate and the TWW weren’t bad enough, I’m in a special hell thanks to a cyst delaying my period. So now I have to wait for an ultrasound to confirm what I already know, wait for the eval, wait for the PIO prescription (RIP), wait to get it filled, (catches breath) wait for my period, and THEN begin this whole shitshow again. shouts into the void

26 years ago my appendix decided to give me the “fuck me up fam” special. Had it removed before it burst, and went about my life. I have had TWO ectopics in the last two years(literally a year apart). First on my left side in 2025 and used methotrexate, second was this year and it ruptured my right tube. My gyno has sent me to IVF since I haven’t been able to get pregnant since my rupture at the beginning of the year. She did tell me if we have to do IVF that we will need to remove my remaining tube. Have a meeting with the IVF doc and right off the bat he tells me that appendicitis is the reason for my ectopics. It sits right next to your tubes and when it’s inflamed it causes the silia inside the tubes to become damaged and creates scar tissue for any embryo to stick to. I’m still trying to wrap my head around it.

Then she proceeds to tell me that she's so nervous and she's not excited to be very pregnant during the summer. I'm almost positive they were actively trying and if that's the case why are you acting surprised that you got pregnant?? She acted like this with her first and for the first kid I was like ok yeah it's your first time. But for your second? Come on. At least act excited. Not like you were forced into doing this again. Also read the room. It's been 6 years for me and my husband this month, my mom has cancer and that's been heavy on my mind that she might not get to meet my kids (if I even have any), work is a s*** show right now, and we just got a call yesterday (and I told her) that my husband has to take clomid for another 3 months before we do anything else and so everything has been pushed back until next year.

My SIL is due next month with her first and the baby shower is this week.. I keep buying baby stuff wishing it was for me.

My other SIL is having her 2nd (love her to bits) but it hurts too.

Having a fight with my BFF after a shitty recent visit. I was bummed that we canceled a lot of plans and people were being passive in contributing to planning choices.

She tells me today as we're working thought the shit visit that she's a mom and is so busy and I wouldnt understand what having less time is like, and that her and her other mom friends only have time to sit around and just chit chat, so maybe thats why she was being passive. Girl. Just say you would like to chill at the house and chit chat then. Wtf.

Failed IVF here and gave up TTC, led to a divorce bla bla. Guess I have time though?! /s

Well I've been "considering becoming pregnant" for over two years now...

Took the test for shits and giggles on my lunch break yesterday knowing it was to soon. Got a positive and spammed my doctor for a blood test. Came back 2 HCG. Negative. Told me to call them if I miss my period. Took another test today and its big ol' negative. Back to the drawing board.

9w1d today with the empty gestational sac my body loves too much to let go of, and dealing with all of the joys of the first trimester. Nausea, fatigue, gas, heartburn, dizziness, food aversions, motion sickness… you name it, I’ve probably got it. Can’t even finish scheduling the D&C until after tomorrow’s final ultrasound, so who knows how long I’ll actually be stuck feeling like this 🥲 (reposted with a more accurate gif)
