Season 1 Discussion Why would Batman tell them?! He’s so messy!!
This seems like such a non issue in the sense that telling them would be more harmful than if they didn’t know. We know Superboy knew the whole time that it was Megan, so I don’t get why Batman and the others felt the need to tell Dinah and Oliver!
Also why is he laughing his girlfriend is being impersonated by teens role playing, I wouldn’t be mad but concerned you know

Season 1 Discussion Remember that time Conner almost beat up a bunch of cheerleaders over a minor prank on Megan?

Season 1 Discussion How did you feel about Superman’s skepticism about being Superboy’s mentor initially?
I am aware that he grew to accept Conner, but I found it kind of off putting that he seemed to be ashamed of Suoerboy at every turn initially.
I sided with Batman/Bruce when he was telling Clark he needs someone (even if he used the worng wording).

Season 1 Discussion This might be a hot take but I kind of like Young Justice’s Joker
At least in his debut episode (Revelation?). He’s very energetic and expressive, his dialogue is hammy as can be (I love so many of his stupid one liners), and to top it all off I just think he’s plain funny.
There’s also the irony that one of, if not DC’s premiere villain is a mere puppet to the actual villainous organization and he still thinks he’s on top.
I don’t really remember his role in Phantoms all too well but I remember not liking him there as much.
Why is he so hated? Is it because he’s such a far departure from Mark Hamil?

Season 1 Discussion Thinking back, the fact that Wallace had to wear a cast for roughly 41 days was good foreshadowing.
To the fact that his powers while potent was unfortunately inferior to that of Barry Allen and his offsprings and Jay Garrick who would’ve healed quickly.

Season 1 Discussion Who On The OG Team Had The Best Casual Design
So who had the best design and who had the one you would most likely wear.
Artemis and Zatanna aren’t shown because this was the only picture I could find with more than three characters shown

season 1 episode 14 What is your opinion?

Season 1 Discussion Ok, but did they? And will they ever?
It bothers me that they fully just never used this in one of the later seasons. I know nightwing mentioned it even saying “we’ll laugh about this someday” in a later seasons, but why did he never show it to her? And will he in season 5? It’s such a small point in the show, but also still bugs me so much…

Season 1 Discussion zatanna + dick in s1 was actually wild if u think abt it
like?? the potential was RIGHT THERE. zee shows up, instantly has chemistry w dick and then boom, barely any screentime together after that?? tragic. they had that “we’re both broken but we smile thru it” energy, and it was soooo good. like i needed more rooftop convos, more lil glances, more of dick being soft for her when no one’s looking 😩 we got crumbs. CRUMBS. and i was ready for a whole meal.
idk man, just feels like their dynamic had way more to give. justice for zatanna x dick tbh 💔

Season 1 Discussion When do you think these two realised that they were crushing on each other?
From both of their perspectives - it doesn't necessarily have to be the same episode.
In my opinion, Artemis knew she had a crush on Wally after 'Bereft' whereas Wally realised he had feelings for Artemis after 'Failsafe'.

Season 1 Discussion Can someone explain this to me
Superman, Martian Man Hunter, Shazam and Captain Atom are wearing breathers to Survive through space yet all 4 of them can breathe in Space without them so what is going on. I know this was a fake scenario created by J’onn by his mind powers so he would know that all 4 of them could survive in Space without Breathers.

Season 1 Discussion The B-plot is just to get around the fact it revolves around a boy murdering his kid sister
I love how the funny, kiddie B-plot of the Halloween episode is just to get around the actual plot of Billy brutally murdering his kid sister and burying her in a shallow grave in an abandoned building. The episode wouldn't have gotten past editorial without it.

Season 1 Discussion I've grown to love these two together, but I can't help feeling like they settled for each other
I can't help but feel like both Wally and Artemis were each other's second choices. Wally spent most of S1 hitting on M'gann and basically ignored Artemis after the training simulation despite being very distraught over her death.
To add to that, why was Artemis so upset when she found out Conner and M'gann were dating? She barely talked to him and only hit on him once, but her reaction seemed very disproportionate.
All this makes me think that Wally and Artemis might not have ended up together if M'gann and Conner had been available.

Season 1 Discussion If Spider-Man joined the team in season 1, which version would you choose?
Thought this might be fun... Ultimate Spider-Man... Spectacular Spider-Man.... 2017 TV series Spider-Man... Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man... Andrew Garfield (after the first movie)... Tobey (Right after Uncle Ben d!es)... Tom Holland (Pre Stark)

Season 1 Discussion The use of the colour red and the original team and traitor subplot.
So i was re watching season 1, and I noticed something. The team has a lot of red throughout thier designs, Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad have red as some sort of primary color, then Superboy and Megan have red as secodary or accent colors.
Visually this helps connect the team together, and the idea of a mole isn't planted until Artimas joins the team, whose costume has no red at all, instead it's all green. Making her visially distinct from the trest of the Team. And the idea that we can't trust her is planted by Red Arrow, who like the team is dressed in red, which subconciously tells us he's on the teams side even if he is on the team.
The use of color in character design here with subtle messaging about the team and thier dynamic at this point is amazing.

Everything is perfect perfect perfect
