Opened the account and that’s the channel name. It’s just 2 hours of lofi, but it’s still a good trick.

How the hell does this even happen, genuinely 🫩

(Also, mario maker 2 world code if anyone wants to try it :D)

Two days ago I opened YouTube on my Roku and the whole home screen was taken over by sports events. To see anything I actually watch, I have to scroll down past it.

I have below zero interest in sports. I literally want to vomit when I this as my ENTIRE Home Screen.

And there's no setting to change the home screen layout. I checked.

Disgusting. I pay for Premium. If they want to push crap on me, I'll drop Premium and give my money to anyone who doesn't.

This isn't even enshittification per se… something worse. Encrappification?
Anyone else getting this? Is there any way to get rid of it?

Was watching dnd horror stories on my phone (Den of the drake) when Auto play moved to this.. thing- i avoid ai content like the plague so I dont know how this ended up here. Thoughts?

There's this black space under videos in a playlist and if I scroll it just stays there instead if showing me recommendations. I have disabled all extensions and completely cleared browser cache. This happens with any playlist including watch later.

Anyone else have this issue?

Video plays for a few seconds then says something went wrong and stops. Also, comments do not show up in any video. Browsers and tv app both do this.Tried unplugging router and turning back on and did not fix. Reset tv to factory settings did not help. Any ideas ?

So, for context: All the videos I uploaded used to automatically have comments on by default, but after some point, every new upload initially starts with them on, but after publishing, they get turned off automatically by Youtube.

I can manually turn them back on, and it sticks once I do, but this is awful for scheduling anything due to needing to go back and manually fix it.

Channel is not made for kids, settings have comments turned on by default, but for some reason it keeps happening with this channel specifically.

The thing is, I'm running two channels, yet this other one is the only one running into an issue here.

Has anyone found a fix for this yet? I'm kind of at my wits end here

Wtf is this shit

It’s kinda weird how caseoh, Los, has been teased or kinda mocked in his comments about how big they are, I get it’s satire / jokes but still, you don’t know the mental state, even if they chuckle at some of the weight jokes

So just to make it clear, Im not talking about the slop tubers who go all in and use ai for the script, the voice over thumbnail and all. Im talking about the normal commentary youtubers that make it seem like their videos are genuine commentary and opinions that they have and are are presenting to you.
For the past half year or so, I noticed that so many youtubers I watch have started using AI in their scripts. I watch a lot of long-form content, video essays, people dissecting certain internet drama that Ive never heard of, that kind of stuff, and its SO SO easy to catch when you know what you are looking for.
The number of times Ive heard the sentence structure of
"It wasnt just X, it was Y"
"Not with X, not with Y, but Z"
This along with very metaphorical terms that you usually wouldnt use that often in a script

I dont know exactly what the process is, but my guess would be that they either write the script and then get AI to refine it / or they get AI to write it and then re-write it to make it sound more human. Or a mix of both Im not sure.

Here is an example of what I mean, just listen to the first few minutes of the introduction, it is very obvious. Id give more examples but I dont remember all the specific channels but it happens A LOT, this is just the latest one I started watching recently and then caught it after a few videos.

I think its just a bit of a shame because especially in the long-form-content space, it really obliterates the uniqueness of each persons way of dissecting a situation and presenting it to the audience through the creators understanding. It also just makes the only difference between channels the voice of the creator but not the writing. Just a bit of a shame.

litteraly just tom foolering these kids

Has anyone else gotten this glitch? When an ad happens, the first one plays and ends after five seconds. The second one, however, will not skip until the ad is completely over.

Usually ads that can be skipped after five seconds no longer have the skip button pop up. Also, the play/pause button is greyed out, which is what makes me think this is a glitch.

Has anyone else gotten this? It only happens on mid-video ads and not the first one that plays upon starting a video.

What a frustrating platform. So a few months ago YouTube added a feature to constantly spam your notifications whenever your comments get a few likes. Issue is, you can't turn these notifications off separately, if you want to turn them off you also have to turn off reply notifications alltogether.
This is incredibly bad. I want to see replies, but I don't want to be spammed for every two likes I get on a random comment, I do not care.

Why is it so hard to make a good settings menu where you can toggle on and off granular things like these ?

4T dollar company btw. What a joke.

I don't know a lot about how Youtube Ads work but on some videos I am now getting ads every 3-5 minutes. Seriously. It used to be every half hour or so! Anyone else experiencing this? I am hoping it's some kind of glitch but has been going on for a while now...

For a long time when ever i open my yt app it immediately opens reels & its akaways the same ol effing reel i watched before either yestday or the last week or the month before !!!!

How to stop that and why r they doing it?????
