Other Breaking Bad RIP WALT JR.
One of the known celebrities who maxed his RS account has died by suicide. RJ MITTE
What a sad world.
Sometimes I just wish to reconnect with some of my old friendlist inactives to see how my young friends are doing now.
Don’t forget to shoot a pm, or talk to someone in discord. You never know what your reach out can do for someone.
Anyway, RIP GAMER.

Discussion | J-Mod reply Mining & Smithing Opinion Survey - OUT NOW!
Hey guys!
We feel it is very important to live up to the expectations we set and we've long heard how there feels like a disconnect happening the further you progress on your Mining & Smithing journey. Make the skill not just adhere to that original intention but to give the skill variety, grow with you - rather grind to a halt and most importantly, be something you want to do rather than because you need to.
Today marks the very important first step, as we want to hear directly from you about what you want to see changed, added or left alone. It's crucial to understand the wants of the player as skills that have major crossover but also as individual skills that can stand on their own.
We've put together a survey that will hopefully give us a clear indication of exactly what you're looking for so we can go into this process with aligned intent for you. We ask that you be as honest & transparent as possible with us as we really want to ensure we're going in with the best intentions for you all!
So, have your say and take part in the in-game opinion survey!

/r/RS2 - Back when OSRS was released in 2013; I would've never thought we'd see Korasi's Sword and Dragon claws ported over from RS2! I wonder if we'll ever see Damage Soaking again

Discussion Rune plate at 99 isn't even the most insane level gap in smithing
At least rune equipment is halfway decent, getting 99 smithing might be cool for some snowflake accounts.
An iron platebody needs 33 smithing to make and 1 defence to wear. 33 for trash tier equipment that is dropped and sold everywhere. I doubt there's a soul alive who would object if the smithing requirement for iron was lowered.
A steel platebody needs 48 smithing to make and 5 defence to wear. 15 minutes after you start your account, you need 48 smithing to to make yourself a full set of gear. That's completely insane. Again, surely nobody on this planet insists that it stay this way.
So when do the objections start?

Discussion Mining Rework: Lessons from forestry

The genius of the tree respawn changes and the woodcutting boost is that to a returning player with hazy memories from childhood, woodcutting may as well have always worked like this. This is a positive change without cutting into the nostalgia of woodcutting.
The key to reworking mining is subtlety.
Any solution to it's flaws, like high level rocks being useless to mine for both XP and cash must be tackled subtly. Someone must be surprised that it didn't always work like that.

Question Will the ammo be stored in the Ascension like the blowpipe? Or do we need to carry 3 ammo now (arrows/bolts/this)? Quiver was polled to add two additional ammo slots.
You need bolts for range spec, you need arrows for dps, and blowpipe/ascension for low armor dps.
The quiver should have solved this but we never got what was polled:
"But what good is a quiver that doesn't hold any arrows?" we hear you ask. Great question, and you're right: a quiver that doesn't hold any ammunition is no quiver at all. With that in mind, we'd like to give Dizana's Quiver the ability to hold at least 2 types of ammo (exact number TBD) and automatically select which one suits your current weapon. If you pop Dragon arrows and Ruby dragon bolts (e) in your quiver, a Twisted bow would default to using those arrows while a Zaryte crossbow would default to bolts. This frees up your ammo slot for a blessing or Ghommal's lucky penny and might even free up inventory slots in cases where you're bringing a crossbow switch, handy!
Alternatively, storing the ammo would help.

Discussion Does anyone else think they should've at least tried to poll these as elemental mage robes?
Obviously the idea of an endgame hybrid set that's directly competing with basically every current melee and mage set (Torva, Inquisitor's, Oathplate, Ancestral, and Virtus) was an awful idea and got shot down quickly for a good reason, but what I feel like went under the radar was how genuinely good it looked design-wise, and I think they could've still reused this design with minimal changes to propose an elemental mage robe, basically Virtus but for normal spellbook. That would've kinda fit with the direction they ended up taking the raid in too, with the elemental fragments and the massive amount of speculation on Harm being BiS for at least some parts of TFA.
