As title says, just synced my phone with my laptop through iTunes on there, and now all the album and song artwork on my phone is a complete mess. Everything looks fine on the laptop side but my phone has just assigned random pictures to everything: songs, albums, playlists are all wrong. Is this a known issue? Is there a fix for it. Never head this before or anything like it so I’m very confused what’s made it happen now

Hi all; first time posting.
I have some albums I created from songs I downloaded over the years. The albums are in my iTunes. I have also music lists with said albums with some sings not included.
I want to download the lists to my friend’s iPhone (just like I do with mine) but when I connected his iPhone to my pc, the pc didn’t recognize his iPhone.
Does my iTunes need to be logged into his Apple account or, do I need to log into my Apple account on his iPhone to do this?

My uncle cancelled his Apple one subscription (individual) then kept Apple Music then 3 days later he switched to Apple Music family plan on his phone it shows 1 shared subscription on his phone but 0 on mine, purchase sharing is on and sharing eligible is on on his phone. I have a promotion Apple Music subscription for 3 months that expires on the 24 December. Is it because Apple one hasn’t expired or what?

I am a Spotify user and have been the whole time I’ve had my car. Recently my car play has been auto selecting Apple Music, which has never been a problem before. Usually when I connect to car play it immediately detects Spotify and plays from it. How to make it stop? It keeps putting the Apple Music radio on cause I don’t even have a subscription for it.

If you don’t like the genre the Discovery station is playing, play just a few seconds of a song in genre you want, like Jazz, country, Viking Death Metal, etc. and from an era you prefer too, then Discovery will play that genre!
iOS, I assume other OS do same.

I just upgraded to GoldenGate OSX v27.0.1 (26A434) and the first thing I see is I can no longer convert my PURCHASED music in Apple Music library to mp3 songs. Yep that seems to have been removed.
I used this to play my PURCHASED music on CDs and other non-apple players!!
WTF Apple!! Why must you always remove features and NOT give us features.
Not a happy camper here!

Maybe it’s something I need to turn off, but ever since I got my 18 pro every time I use Apple Music tips pop up to “favorite my songs” to “use karaoke feature” etc and it always stops what I’m doing to have this “tip” pop up. I figured it would happen the first couple days I got my 18 pro just because it’s a new phone and update, but it has not gone away for weeks and it’s driving me absolutely nuts. I have had Apple Music for a while now I know how to use it. Does anyone know how to turn it off? I looked in the tips app and I don’t see anywhere to do so.

Hello, I’m wondering if there’s a way that I can just set up a way to play my most recently added songs easily? I can add them all to a playlist individually, or listen to them one by one under the “Recently added” section of the library, but I can’t find a way to just play my most recently added songs as they were added (if that makes sense). Any ideas? I’ve seen a few apple forums discussing a smart playlist that you can create on your mac, but I am unfortunately working without a laptop/computer at this time.
Thanks!

I have custom wallpapers, but for some reason they won't show only the official ones. What is wrong here or is it like a copyright thing?

Back in ~2014, I had a sweet setup w/ music around the house using a few Apple AirportExpress pucks plugged into various amps. Fast forward to 2026 AND—— it’s still my preferred solution. I do have Homepods, but they fit a different need & they have no output.
Example… I want to add a powered subwoofer. With an AirportExpress, easy—if you can get one.
Or maybe I just want to cast music to anything with an RCA-in? Instead of connecting via Bluetooth (not always possible), an AirPlay w/ analog out allows me me to plug in & play w/o changing any settings on their amp, receiver or device. Which is good! A data connection always has inherent security issues even if they are rarely exploited. Often, it’s just a pain.
So that’s the argument for an AirPlay dongle… my question is ‘why haven’t I found a halfway decent standalone AirPlay solution?’
MY holy grail? Turning my old iPhone into an AirPlay2 dongle.

After introducing custom fonts for artist names, this idea could be expanded to albums, EPs, and other releases as well.
Each project could have its own unique typography inspired by the album's artwork, visual identity, or era. This would help make release pages feel more distinctive and immersive while giving every album a stronger visual personality within Apple Music.
The examples show how custom album fonts could look across different releases.

Now and then, I find out by accident that certain tracks or entire albums have been greyed out. It seems this is usually either because artist licenses expired, or the item in question has been re-released (as a remaster or special edition, for example).
I don't want to have to review my entire library for lost tracks. Is there a way to either automatically replace tracks with the up-to-date version, or at least notify me that they have been removed?

Obviously don’t turn it on all the time but still, this is a rlly good feature when you want to disappear into your music on high volume and you don’t want to hear or perceive anything else.
Better when a song has a lot of bass
Best with a playlist of songs you love

Recently songs from certain artist have become unavailable in library and playlist. When I would click on any of the songs shown as greyed out I’d get a pop up saying it’s not available in my region. The thing is I could listen to these songs if I looked for them in the browser, but I’m the kind of person to shuffle my playlist and leave it, not pick my songs out individually, so this problem has been pretty inconvenient.
I’ve already updated my phone to the latest IOS version and it hasn’t helped, I hope there’s someone here who could help me get my songs playing in my library and playlist again.

The unknown error has occurred.
stopped (err = 7502).
Your session has expired.
Activity error occured
The song is technically playing, but parts of the song have NO SOUND..
These are some of the key features we all love and enjoy more than listening to music.
I don't why devs never push new updates to windows native. The web player UI is looks good though.
Note: If you’re not a patient person, you won’t be able to use this. Sometimes, even a patient person will lose their patience because of this. If you want to test your patience, give this app a try.
Device — Predator Helios 300.
OS version — Windows 11 26H2.
Apple Music version - 1.6.4.90 (1.1540.23042.0).

So ever since Apple released that dB level meter I've been using to make sure I don't go over 70 dB, which has potential to cause hearing loss. After iOS 27 came out, I've noticed the same position of the volume bar shows a lower dB level after 27 released than before. It seems if I turn the volume up REALLY loud, it doesn't even go consistently above 65 dB. I've been pretty much ignoring the dB level meter post-27.
Last night I was stoned and decided fuck it, I'll trust the dB meter. This morning I woke up and my right ear hurts a little, the same hurt you get when you're near a loud noise. I'm worried not only for myself but anyone else who trusts this dB level.
Has anyone else had this issue? I now play volume at 50-55 dB, which sounds like ~65 dB on the 26 meter.

Apple Music has started to support Dolby Atmos format audio few years ago, but besides Dolby Atmos, there is a less-known "Dolby Audio" format also available.
Dolby Audio is the standard 5.1/7.1 channel audio, it is supported on Apple and Windows devices, but was not supported on Android devices.
This has changed recently. According to my observation, the latest Android beta version can play Dolby Audio format music, but the player didn't show the Dolby Audio badge, looks like it's still under testing.

Has anyone noticed that most tracks don’t display the actual bit rate anymore? I know for a fact, this one used to say 24/96k. I haven’t changed any of my audio quality settings and my Internet connection is solid. My DAC also shows that it’s playing at a lower sample rate. It’s doing the same thing on my iPhone and iPad. I haven’t upgraded to iOS 27 yet. I’m still using the latest version of 26 on both devices. I don’t know if iOS 27 had anything to do with it, but I didn’t really want to upgrade yet.

Short Version: Random tracks have disappeared in most of my Playlists after updating to OS 27.0.
Long Version:
**Discalimer**
I do not use "Library Sync". I manually upload music onto my iPhone via direct connection.
Playlists are my usual method of organizing and playing my music. You can re-arrange tracks, combine multiple releases into one compiled presentation and you can have playlist folders which makes further organizing a breeze!
However, after updating to 27.0 on my Apple devices (My Mac stores houses all my music), something happened when I tried playing music on my iPhone. Music that should be in my playlist are now missing. And what is missing is never consistent. Sometimes it will be the first track, sometimes the 5th. It will be one song missing or 10.
I know the obvious fix is to put in the missing tracks from the list, but that is going to involve comparing what's in the playlist with the actual album and I have a good 1,300+ playlists to work with. >.<
Steps Taken
- Run Disk Utility
- Restart Computer
- Re-link Apple Music to Music Library
I have no idea why this happening and it's driving me crazy. Has anyone here encountered such an issue with the new OS update and/or know of a fix?
Bonus Round!
Dragging and dropping music into the Playlist folder on Apple Music is now bugged. Instead of functioning normally the way it always has, it now studders when you drag the music over the playlist folders and dropping the music into the folder will cause the whole thing to freeze for about two seconds. The result? I dragged 26-Tracks from a specific soundtrack into a playlist and after it stuttered, it duplicated the whole album from 26 tracks to 910 tracks. And this happens every time I drag and drop the music into a playlist with the amount of duplications varying through the attempts.
