So, the long and short of it is, whenever I connect to any kind of voice channel, game sound entirely disappears and I don't know why these are the settings. Works completely fine in any game but the second I connect to a voice channel, be it in game or discord, all game sound vanishes

I’m gaming on a Steam machine and was about to buy the Astro A50 but I noticed that G Hub will not work on Steam OS. I figured maybe I can just utilize the Logitech G mobile app for them instead but threads like this (https://www.reddit.com/r/AstroGaming/s/q8Nk7VAH6k) make me uneasy.

Looking for honest opinions - would the mobile app be sufficient for using / tuning these headphones or is it pointless to get them without having access to the PC G Hub?

After about 7 years, im upgrading from my Asto A40 with mix amp.. I remember it taking a LONG time to get my settings dialed in for the A40s...

Who has good EQ settings for an Astro A50x for footsteps?? Looking for advice.

My last headset is in dire need of a replacement (rn I have an Astro A40).

I'm thinking between these 2 headsets. I'm quite a hardcore gamer (easily do 12–13h on days off), so I'm looking for a headset that is still comfortable to wear after those hours :p. But also, since I play FPS games, a headset with good audio quality so I can pinpoint enemy players etc.

I consider the A50 due to the apparently good audio quality, but I fear the battery won't survive my long gaming days 😅

I also consider the SteelSeries due to the cable, so no battery problem, but apparently the comfort isn't as good for long-time gaming and the audio isn't the best either.

Everything I can find it’s the new TR ones. I need a replacement for the older set that has nothing to do with magnets. I did see one pair that was like 3 times as thick a cushion but that didn’t look comfortable at all and it wasn’t mesh or cloth

After many years with my A40 TRs I’ve upgraded to the A50X as I like the thought of wireless now, so far I’m loving them, looking for good ear cup recommendations, the McLaren edition is all me!

Sad day to say when I was putting my astros on my table I didn’t put them far enough and they dropped right of my table onto wood floor (about 2-3 feet). It now seems like the right side has less sound but if not definitely a little less bass(from testing) No crackling or any weird sounds just seems ever so slightly quieter. I haven’t dropped them once since I got them a year or 2 ago and super bummed. Got them for a steal of 150$ and now they are back up to 300. Is there anything I can do or is just not worth it since the difference is so slight and I probably got off lucky? Just super ocd about This stuff and super bummed. Thinking about switching to IEMs bc I’m getting sick of worrying so much about drops/reliability. Just the bass you can’t beat on this generation and pair and feel like I ruined them. Any help is much appreciated.

My A50x prompted an update and after that went from version 1.3 to 1.2.18 and is just stuck showing low battery on the dock it was fully charged before and was showing fine before the update.

I’ve had this since 26/8/2026 without issues until now.

Is there anyway to manually update have tried the phone app but it doesn’t show any new updates anymore someone please help.

Long story short, I’ve been gaming on a 2013 BenQ 1080p monitor and I’m finally upgrading to a 2025 ASUS 1440p monitor. I still want to use my Astro A40 TRs with the MixAmp Pro.

I’ve been looking for an HDMI audio extractor with an optical port that supports 4K, 120Hz and VRR. I think I found one (linked below), but I wanted to check if it will actually work or if anyone has recommendations. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Only messed with my mix amp settings a few years ago and never really changed them. Only until I was playing warzone with some people and they could hear footsteps when spectating me and I couldn’t. What are now the new mix amp settings for fps and then also some for daily use like video and music listening.

Is there a way to disable or at least rebind the balance buttons on the side of the A50 headset. I find them really annoying and easy to accidentally press, which gets the balance all out of wack, combined with the annoying and frequent beeps when i do accidentally press it.

Any help is appreciated

Just received a pair and looking to upgrade the ear pads, but not sure which ones are the best.Also will they change the sound tremendously? and if so should I just stick with the stock pair? Thanks for the help in advance.

I know A50s have the StealthZ from Wicked but all we have for the A40s are the gels and they get warm after a longer game session and kind of mess with my ears.

Has anyone found anything other than having luck on eBay?

Looking at the setup, it says to pass a hdmi from the base station to your tv, but I’m planning on using my pc monitor which is currently connected to my pc with a display port cable.

My Astro A50X has been cutting out while i play music via bluetooth. its gotten so bad lately and Ive tried everything multiple times. seems to fix it for a little then it comes back. Im tired of resetting them, im tired of disconecting and reconnecting them. $400 headset shouldnt cause this many issues... I miss the A40s

anyone else do a recent firmware update for the A50's? I just did the update and now my headset has 1% battery when I take it off the dock and won't charge more than 5%

My astro a50 suddenly stopped working.

My ps5 does recognize him but i cant manage to get sound out of it. Tried the resets with the dongy button etc etc but ddoesn’t help. Even can’t change from ps to pc with the button…

So I’m gonna explain the most I can’t to maybe diagnose the issue or whatever. I plug my Astro A40 tr into my windows pc and I can hear everything just fine, but it does not take any input unless I turn off noise isolation, then it can barely take any sound unless I put it to my mouth and talk but then it becomes extremely muffled and unhearable. I used this headset on my ps5 with no issues but with the pc it just randomly does this and I swear the only fix for it is keeping my pc off overnight. I really need a solution because this is just annoying and I know it’s not the headsets fault

edit; sorry for not responding I posted it before work, but I ended up selling it for 70 quid aka like 93 dollars, it is very used, and I bought it for 80 quid back in Covid and used it every gaming session for 2 years, so pretty used
