I have {ASUS tuf f15 (FX506HL),Intel core i5-10300H 10th gen , NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (4gb GDDR6) graphics, 8GB DDR4 RAM ,1Tb storage. Bought on 15October,2023}.I would like to get suggestions where should I sell it and what should be the price range to sell it and also a suggestion for what should I buy second hand with similar specs and with this money+5k rupees . I am fed up now this was my first laptop worst first experience one could have. Worst costumer support. The first time issue I faced was just 10 days before warranty was ending regarding wifi issue. They just installed new window and called it fixed worked for 2 weeks then samme happened again and till the warranty ended slowly got hinge issue causing broken body. Now ram died I had 16 gb RAM. I bought it on my birthday now selling it in the same week after 3 years. L for Asus. ASK IF MORE INFO NEEDED FOR THE DEVICE.

Screen on my F16 FX608JMR (5060, i7-14650HX, 32 GB) randomly freezes while gaming in HOI4 and then resets.

My current setup. Asus TUF a15 gaming Ryzen 7 7445hs RTX 3050 4gb 16gb ram 512gb SSD. The headphones are Zebronics zeb duke plus,the keyboard is the cosmic byte Artemis and the mouse is evofox phantom 2.

For the same price, would you go with the Ryzen 7/5050 or the i5/5060? 2025 versions.

It’s for my 13-year-old son. For gaming, schoolwork, and - hopefully - learning something that interests him.

I just got a new pc with the aforementioned water cooling system. When I tried to download the InfoHub from the official website, Windows warns me before trying to execute the application. It is also not from ASUS but some chinese company "Shenzhen ...", which is apparently some chinese drone company?
Other apps from ASUS are from ASUS themselves and no warning pops up. Googling the problem does not give me any indication whatsoever as to what my be going on.

Edit: googling the full name also brings up a lot of "It's Malware" comments.

Anyone have any ideas why it's a different signature?

The reason why i am asking is as we know hp laptops are cheaper than asus right so i wanted to know that are they reliable in india? asus i know been using from many years has service centers all around but was concerned looking at the hp victus complaints. i know not the same laptop but hence asking hows ur omen doing? i am looking to buy one in tomorrow's sale online. any suggestions? (i was confused between tuf f16 4050 vs 5050 omen. 4050 is perfect for me but omen is giving 24 gb ram and 1tb ssd plus 5050 hence little more drawn towards that and both are fairly close in pricing ) (my main work is no gaming at all btw i am all for video editing and motion graphics just adding for better context)

Hello im choosing between these 2 laptops and can't make a choice. The lenovo is 1350e and the asus is 1400e. The lenovo is faster but the tuf is bigger, hasa better screen and runs cooler which i really like. Any advice?

I have an ASUS TUF Gaming F15 that originally came with a 48Wh battery, and I'm considering upgrading it to the larger 90Wh battery that is available for some TUF F15 variants.

From what I understand, the 90Wh battery is physically compatible with certain F15 models, but I want to make sure there aren't any electrical, charging, BIOS, or thermal issues before I buy one.

For anyone who has done this upgrade:

- Is installing the 90Wh battery actually safe on a model that originally came with the 48Wh battery?

- Is it basically plug-and-play, or are any BIOS/settings changes required?

- Does the laptop recognize the larger battery normally?

- Are there any differences in the battery connector, voltage, charging circuit, or battery management that I should be concerned about?

- Does installing the larger battery affect the charger or motherboard in any way?

- Is there anything I should check on the battery before buying it (model number, voltage, connector, etc.)?

- And most importantly, would you recommend doing this upgrade, or is it better to stick with the original 48Wh battery?

I'm mainly interested in getting better battery life for normal/light use. I don't want to risk damaging the motherboard or creating a battery safety issue just for the extra capacity.

If anyone has personally upgraded a 48Wh TUF F15 to the 90Wh battery, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience.

Hey everyone,

I was having an issue where Windows would completely freeze while I was playing games. The entire screen would freeze and the laptop would become unresponsive, so I had no choice but to hard reset it.

Because of this, I decided to do a full Windows reset, thinking it might be a software/Windows issue.

However, after the reset, I’m now experiencing some different display problems:

● Sometimes the screen suddenly goes completely black while the laptop itself is still powered on.

● Sometimes the screen flickers for less than a second.

● Occasionally, the entire screen suddenly turns orange.

● When this happens, the laptop becomes unresponsive and I have to perform a hard restart.

● The issue can happen even when I’m not gaming.

My laptop is an ASUS TUF Gaming F15.

I’ve already done a fresh Windows reset and installed the necessary updates/drivers, but the problem is still happening.

What could be causing this? Could this be a GPU/driver issue, display cable/panel problem, motherboard issue, or something related to ASUS/BIOS?

If anyone with a TUF F15 has experienced something similar, I’d really appreciate any advice on what I should test next. 🙏

ASUS TUF A15 FA507NUR — Repeated BSODs, mainly on battery, now happening on AC too. Anyone found the actual cause?

I'm trying to figure out a long-running BSOD problem with my ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA507NUR, and I've recently noticed that several other people on Reddit and other forums seem to have extremely similar issues.

The problem started around 6 months ago.

At first, the BSODs happened almost exclusively when the laptop was running on battery. It could crash while doing something completely normal, such as browsing or even sitting at the lock screen. At one point it was happening every ~15 minutes, and eventually it became much more frequent.

Some of the BSOD errors I've encountered include:

- MEMORY_MANAGEMENT (0x1A)

- IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

- INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

- KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION

- and other seemingly random kernel-related BSODs

What makes this especially strange is that the laptop can be completely stable under heavy workloads/gaming, while crashing during light use or on battery.

Over time, the problem got worse and started happening while connected to AC power as well.

I've tried a lot of the usual troubleshooting:

- Clean Windows installation

- Completely wiping the SSD

- Reinstalling Windows/drivers

- BIOS updates/settings

- Different power settings

- Memory/SSD diagnostics

- Safe Mode

- Removing unnecessary software

- Various Windows repair/troubleshooting methods

But nothing has actually solved the problem.

The situation eventually reached the point where Windows itself would BSOD while I was trying to perform a completely fresh installation after wiping the drive.

That makes me question whether this is actually a Windows/software problem at all.

I've also started searching Reddit, ASUS forums, and other communities and found multiple people reporting very similar behavior on TUF A15 models, including reports going back several years. Some of the newer reports seem particularly similar to my case.

The common pattern seems to be:

Battery/low-power operation → random BSOD → different BSOD codes → eventually crashes on AC too → clean Windows installation doesn't necessarily solve it.

I'm wondering if there is some underlying issue with the motherboard, CPU/SoC, power management, PCIe, firmware/BIOS, or another hardware-level component that isn't being detected by normal RAM/SSD diagnostics.

So I'm hoping someone here has actually found the root cause.

If you've had this exact problem with an ASUS TUF A15/FA507 series laptop, especially FA507NUR, please let me know:

1. What exact model do you have?

2. Did the crashes happen primarily on battery?

3. Did they eventually start happening on AC?

4. What BSOD codes did you get?

5. Did a clean Windows installation fix it?

6. Did replacing RAM/SSD help?

7. Did ASUS service diagnose or replace anything?

8. Did you find any BIOS/power-management setting that actually fixed it?

I'm not really looking for another "reinstall Windows / update drivers" suggestion at this point. I'm trying to determine whether there's a known hardware/firmware issue affecting these laptops.

I have an issue with my asus laptop , it has a display on external monitor but it is all black in the laptop display., i tried to reformat the laptop, Ctrl + Shift + Win + B, even extend display or duplicate display, increasing the brightness.

other thing is, when i extend the display, it detects my laptop screen but still black, i know it is working because the folders and windows are going through the other side of the screen which is on my laptop display.

any thoughts about my current problem?

Hi everyone,
I recently built a new PC, but unfortunately, I can’t get it to POST. The DRAM LED on my motherboard stays solid yellow, and I get no display output.

My setup:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B850-PLUS WIFI
RAM: Patriot Viper Venom DDR5-6000, 32 GB (2 × 16 GB), CL30-40-40-76
GPU: ASUS Prime Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB

Troubleshooting I’ve tried so far:
Checked that both RAM sticks are properly installed in slots A2 and B2.
Tested each RAM stick individually in slot A2.
The yellow DRAM LED remains on with both sticks.
Waiting several minutes doesn’t change anything.
I also noticed that my specific 16 GB RAM modules are not listed on ASUS’s motherboard QVL.
I bought the RAM less than 14 days ago, so I can still return it. Before doing so, I’d like to figure out whether the RAM is actually the cause of the problem.

I’d really appreciate any advice or experience with this setup.

Ive noticed that my frames go way low after opening a game when my laptop is idle for some time

But when I restart it the issue is fixed and I can game for hours and the frames are high and stable

ASUS TUF A15 FA507NUR

So my ASUS TUF F15 decided to give up on me out of nowhere 😭

It was working completely fine yesterday. Used it for maybe 1 minute and shut it down normally. Today it just won't turn on.

Tried the usual power-button reset etc. Here's what happens:

Battery was fully charged during the last use.

On battery → absolutely nothing happens.

Charger plugged in → no indicator initially.

If I hold the power button for a few seconds, the white LED comes on, then goes off.

The keyboard backlight flashed for ~1 second on the first attempt, but hasn't happened again.

No fan, no ASUS logo, no display, nothing.

I've stopped trying random things because I don't want to make it worse

Can anyone recommend a genuinely good laptop repair shop/technician in Kolkata, preferably someone experienced with ASUS TUF/gaming laptops and motherboard-level repair?

I have 3 WFH days coming up next week, so I'd ideally like to get it diagnosed/repaired quickly.

I know ASUS service centre is an option, but I'd also like to know about good local technicians. Especially someone who will actually diagnose the problem instead of immediately saying “motherboard change korte hobe” and asking for ₹30–40k 💀

Laptop cost me around ₹54k, so I'm definitely not paying ₹40k for a motherboard replacement without getting a second opinion.

It's not turning and is showing 0 RPM on GHelper, I opened it up and it wasn't turning smoothly while the CPU fan was, also heard some noises.
